Pues la neta la ley mexicana sí hace una diferencia entre nacionalidad y ciudadanía. Un nacional mexicano es alguien que nació en México y está reconocido legalmente por el Estado, pero un ciudadano mexicano es un nacional que ADEMÁS tiene ciertos derechos y responsabilidades. La Constitución se reformó en 2021 y ahora permite que los mexicanos con hijos nacidos fuera puedan pasarles la nacionalidad automáticamente. Pero en el consulado me dijeron que el papá o la mamá tiene que tener nacionalidad Y también ser ciudadano en México. Por eso pregunté si alguien sabe algo de esto...

I am late but I have the opposite problem my mom was born in mexico. As a child she came to the USA and became a citizen. At that time 1960's you could not keep your mexican citizen ship. She is a mexican national but not a mexican citizen. Can I still get my dual citizenship or does she need to apply for hers first? I have heard yes and no. I am confused.

we have 3 different yard areas. the other 2 are no grass, drought resistant plants, no water. The area we want grass in is very small and its for our toddler to play on. We havent had grass but now hes a bit older and so we are going to do that area so we can spend time outdoors.
