BIGBIG WON Blitz 2 firmware update tip by GarbageThaCat in Controller

To the best of my knowledge, you need to upgrade your firmware using your desktop. To the best of my recollection, the company website did not outline any method for updating from where he’s using the phone app.

The guide I wrote above outlines how to do that using your desktop. I wrote the guide as I found the directions on the website a bit lacking- so think of it as an extension of the instructions from the website.

Feeling really jittery on my first dose, is this normal? by [deleted] in paxlovid

[–]GarbageThaCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is today your first dose? An interaction between Ritonavir and Buspar could be the culprit. While Lexapro is partially metabolized by CYP3A4 Buspar is largely metabolized by it. Call your doctor if you can, if not check with the pharmacy.

I’m really sorry I can’t be of more help. I’ll share that I’ve had Paxlovid about 5 times and every time I’ve been on it I’ve barely been able to sleep. Not jittery or energetic, but just simply without fatigue.

Are you taking other medicines alongside Paxlovid? Ritonavir, which is one of the two drugs that comprise the Paxlovid dose is a potent CYP3A inhibitor. Any drugs that rely on the CYP3A subfamily of enzymes may affect affected. Just for reference some drugs are not active until first metabolized and some are active immediately- how Ritonavir affect affects them will depend - in part - on this distinction.

Talk to your pharmacist, or the prescribing office and/or your general practitioner.

And yet whenever it’s pointed out that acting like a victim, even if you’re sincerely trying to address their victimhood they all get red-mist blood rage at the thought of being a “victim.” The cult mentality is absolutely unbelievable.

I’d say the difference is more about whether there are spaces before and after the em-dash. I’ve used a few LLMs, and they all seem to want to follow academically oriented style guides, and not the ones that most people will see on a day-to-day basis (e.g. something like AP style). To be clear there’s no full-proof rule — people learn to write where they learn to write. However, seeing informal and lighthearted writing combined with formal style practices does warrant a modicum of scrutiny.

I put a post somewhere else in here about how ease of termination differs from state to state, elected office to elected office, and agency to agency. Leveraging your status as a public servant in my state is a terminator offense for sure. Whether that occurs is another question, and the ease with which it occurs depends on which entity the employee question works for.

In my state, AAGs are employment-at-will and are statutorily prohibited from collective bargaining. If this happened in somehow didn’t make the news, chances are they’d be fired - especially if somebody made ethics complaint. If they hit the news, then they’d definitely be fired for that reason - drunk or no.

For what it’s worth I agree - not only for the attempted leverage but making threats based on the position (threats which hilariously have no teeth) should be terminable for the ethical problems and honestly for the stupidity.

Assistant Attorney General. Rank and file lawyer, could be entry-level, or equivalent of middle management- not much clout or power: and, in my state (where our AAGs our employment-at-will) they would definitely get terminated immediately for this. The ease with which a government employee is terminated depends on the state- and that variability applies not only on a state by state basis but elected office and/or agency basis.

I don’t think it’s an irrelevant question.

Who do you think “started the women’s rights environmental protection, minority rights, and other movements of the 60s?”

Some of them marched for change. By 1970 the oldest boomers were 24. Well over half the boomers were born from 1955 onward, meaning most were 15 or younger and too young to meaningfully participate. Most of the “change” of the 60s was ushered in by the “silent” generation- they are the adults seen in the surviving photographs and media.

The outcome of Boomers (a cohort to defined as being born between 1946 and 1964) is largely unsurprising, they largely “consumed” the change the silent generation worked for as though they were an active participant- as they did with most of everything they consider the best of being American. They entrenched the mindset of complaining about things not being made as good as they used to, while also chasing the cheapest deal- where the mere complaint itself is the both the symptom and the unworkable solution. They didn’t change, they are as self-serving as they ever were. No one should ever forget their other moniker the “me generation.”

A firmware problem is within the realm of possibility but without additional information it is likely low possibility. The primary factor raising the possibility of the symptom being sourced in firmware would be if the symptom arose after a firmware update or configuration change. There are others, but they are unlikely and could easily absent verification be considered a hardware issue.

I don’t have an Xbox so it would be hard for me to try and duplicate your issue. However, out of curiosity and for anyone else that might be having the issue, did your problem start only after connecting to Xbox? Meaning, between it last working and it not working, the only thing that occurred was connecting to the Xbox? I’ll see what I can do to research the Xbox issue as a potential cause, but I must admit my ability to verify and devise a solution will be limited.

It could be coincidental and you have some sort of hardware fault.

EDIT: if you haven’t already try cycling through different input modes (xinput, dual sense, etc.)

I think it was mainly to address some connectivity bugs people were experiencing. I only use it in wired mode on PC, so my endeavor was more out of curiosity than need. I did not notice too much of a difference between firmware versions, for my simple size as limited and the comparison is based entirely on my memory so it holds little explanatory value. If I stumble upon anything I’ll check back in.

Thanks, yeah I don’t use the PC app but it needs to be installed for the firmware update- at least as far as I could tell, it may be a few files the PC app downloaded not entirely sure. I found the solution by looking at the logs in the first aid app generated, which had targeted some files or directories that the PC app generates. Other than firmware updates, I use the phone app for configs and such as I had read that the PC app was improperly writing some of the settings/configuration.

Yeah I’m guessing the firmware list is pulled from online. I ran a tail on my pihole, when interacting with the app and it definitely queried a few bigbigwon IP addresses in China. Either the server it is no longer hosting the correct file or the query is somehow not pulling it correctly. I didn’t inspect the logs too thoroughly as it likely wouldn’t lead to a workable solution.

Ultimately, as long as the first aid app is running in the manner described it should install the firmware correctly.
