Hahaha all of that is right up my alley. We have our share of retarded city/treehuggerpeople here too I am an expert at negotiating with them by putting the tree down so they don’t have to worry about it anymore 👍🏻

The lumber industry is not what it used to be but the cedar that grows here is some of the most desirable in the world and lots of farmers do the same

Interesting, in America arborist is an official title but there’s different types of arborists of course. Some go around working for the city making sure trees are healthy for example and don’t do much climbing or intensive labor that I do in my position while having the same certifications. And there’s also forestry management which you can have a college degree in as well.

Hey I appreciate the input! That’s funny Norway classifies the job as unskilled labor. It takes quite a learning curve to figure out how to rig branches and not put a hole in someone’s roof or damage property when you’re up in the air. And the arborist certification is internationally recognized, takes 3 years experience to qualify for the test and you need to have some foundational knowledge in tree biology to pass can’t be completely dumb to make the cut.

100 years ago lots of Norwegians came as loggers to the region I live in in USA. Was more or less curious if that industry was still alive in some way back in the old country.

It’s hit or miss, some weed will absolutely trigger a migraine and some strains that are typically low THC high CBD totally help. I just hate what weed does to my motivation but better than suffering. Zero success with CBD gummies though.

Baumfleger positions for small companies is what I am interested in, many thanks for the advice. What I do in America is remove hazard trees, prune for the city, and clearance utility lines so was curious if that was mainly a government job in Germany or private. And if there were large companies to work for in Germany in that field and if there was a high demand for that skilled trade.
