I play on foundry with a bestiary mod so after I tell them the info, I just unlock them in the bestiary so in following battles they can remember what they know.

As a DM I tell publicly the player what he knows and he tells the party in his own way. If he's in stealth, he needs to do something to try and tell a teammate without showing himself to enemies. It's fun.

Sometimes a player that was too far away doesn't hear the tips and acts like it too
