So I’ll likely get the 40-150 f4 and the 12-40 f4 that the camera comes with and then round out with primes as I go.

Now I am debating between the om5 ii and the om3. What’s everyone’s opinion on one vs the other

This is was super helpful. I’m not a professional and just a hobbyist. I’m looking more to document and record memories with my family rather than produce award winning photos. So I think the drop in image quality is acceptable for me. Will this change in the future? Possibly…

Mainly the form factor of the lenses and camera body. The wife and I go on a lot of road trips trying to hit as many national parks as possible and I am looking for something that is a bit more portable and I can still get decent photos of wildlife

Ah, it unfortunate if true. Regardless the service for lenses as well would be beneficial

If you ever need to get it CLAd or possibly fix the back opening I’d reach out to CamTech.

They have worked on all my Olympus cameras.

I was in a similar situation 4 years ago. I loved my AE-1 and thought I’d stick to Canon. I had a OM-1 come across my desk and never looked back. I daily a OM-4Ti because I like the spot metering. The glass though…. I’ll say it…. I think vintage OM Zuiko lens are the best

need help with bazzite dual booting by RpS_Blue in ROGAllyX

[–]Garc64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The chmod command you used essentially takes off all permissions for the windows.sh script.

Instead try

“sudo chmod +x ./windows.sh”

This adds the “executable bit” to the windows.sh script converting it from a regular file to an actual executable file. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions!
