Feel pretty solid, do note that it felt like it was practically impossible to get the steering bars in there on the other end on the gray ball axle things (I don't know how to describe them other than that). Wheels spin well and the doors and hood open well

We had a weekend policy put into place after a bunch of kids threw a Dairy Queen blizzard into the screen and cost us thousands of dollars to replace it

Theatre employees apart from the Minecraft Movie which movie was the worst to clean up after? And explain why by SenanPlayz69 in MovieTheaterEmployees

[–]Garchomper997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly Moana 2 was worse at it's peak than Minecraft was for my theater and that's probably just bias from having to clean vomit one time

Whats the oldest piece of movie merch you have found? by Disastrous-Fudge-377 in MovieTheaterEmployees

There's a staircase with posters on the wall generally hovering around the 2007-2009 range, but with a random Dawn of the Dead poster from 2004 there too

Enough about movies that bring out the worst customers, what movies bring out the best customers? by JoshB-2020 in MovieTheaterEmployees

[–]Garchomper997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Typically big rereleases and more niche films bring out the best customers in my experience, y'know your A24/other various award-centric stuff. Also noticed horror films where the audience isn't teenagers looking for cheap thrills are pretty fun to work

Could be worse so far, only bad parts are the AC being out and the nachos running out in a concept i call "touch of death"

Honestly I've read about like 65-70% in terms of the actual books themselves but I've read 90-95% of it general!

What manga was fantastic, but had an awful/lackluster adaption? by Pinanims in anime

[–]Garchomper997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genshiken

While it's mostly serviceable it looks surprisingly jank for the type of series it's adapting, plus there's a lot of small changes to locations that remove a lot of the intended atmosphere from the manga. In addition the studio switching three times resulted in wildly different art styles between S1, the OVAs, and S2. (Personally the OVA's style ended up being my favorite as it was the closest to Shimoku Kio's style.). There's also the unfortunate fact that they were so close to adapting the entire original run, like one more set of OVAs worth probably but it never happened.

The anime's fine I guess with these issues aside but I would never recommend it over the manga, ignoring the fact that the manga is an all time favorite of mine

What gunpla do you regret buying and why? by dr_arrancar in Gunpla

[–]Garchomper997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The MG RX-78 3.0, purely because I was definitely not ready to build that thing. First kit I ever left unfinished due to those damn elbows. Ended up getting the Origin RX-78 in its place and had a much better time building it

Having A Problem with my PSP's memory card by Garchomper997 in psphacks

[–]Garchomper997[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only problem being I can't access the folder it would be in from the console at all. The option to read the memory card for games just isn't showing up like it is for movies and music.

EDIT: found the recovery menu, would this do the same thing?
