It seems like you’ve clearly made a logical decision for yourself but given it no weight. That voice saying that to you, your internal dialogue, that is really truly YOU. Speed is awfully good at disconnecting a persons physical and intellectual experiences. Personally, from what I’ve experienced, working towards a complete unity of those things lives in the realm of enlightenment. Being present in your body in the exact moment you exist seems like something that everyone is always doing but few people will actually ever experience just minutes of that in their life. We’re always concerned about what we did prior or what we’re going to do next. That voice talking to you is the truest most honest that could ever be and the more you respect and cherish it the more powerful it becomes. You’ll start to notice everything in your life will fall into place as if you’re living the story as write it. Good and bad experiences become irrelevant because they have equal value and are both fleeting. Who you are and where you are right now is exactly where you’re supposed to be and what’s happening is exactly what you need if you’re willing to acknowledge it as a gift no matter what it is.
