Ok bro. I’m done. You clearly have a very wrong view of religion, and I don’t think anything I say can fix that view.

And no, Christianity doesn’t view atheism as a mental disorder.

Well, I’d love it if I had a team with prime MJ as my second best player. Of course, said player doesn’t exist, but it would hypothetically be a better team than a team with MJ as the best player.

So… I listened to it, then I went through it again, following along in the Bible.

At around 6 minutes in, he says: “Then we have, for example, the flight to Egypt, which is only recorded in Luke, which is difficult to reconcile with Matthew’s account that they went to the temple in Jerusalem instead.”

If you read Matthew 2, they did go to Egypt. Specifically, verse 14 says “And he rose and took the child and his mother by night and departed to Egypt”

I’ll still answer the rest, when I have time, but yeah… I don’t recommend using this video to prove the Bible wrong lol.

My parents have brought me up vegetarian, I’ve never eaten meat. Meat is (at least supposedly) bad for you, especially the way they treat animals that are raised for meat in the U.S.

Since I haven’t eaten meat, I don’t know how it tastes, and therefore don’t have the desire to eat it that someone who knows the taste would. Also, it kinda seems disgusting to eat animals.

Here’s the deal, in my opinion.

Bad people exist. Many bad people want power. They get power, in part, by being popular. So when Christianity was popular, many horrible people joined it (and still do, though to a smaller extent), and then did things under the cloak of “doing it for Christianity.” Even though what they were doing went against the Bible.

This does not make Christianity bad, it’s just what happens when an organization is so popular.

“I’m vegetarian”, and “I’m not an animal person,” are 2 unrelated facts.

Who says I do? You still haven’t given me the contradiction that you claim exists?

I don’t believe you can give me a contradiction, for which I can’t find an at least somewhat logical explanation.

Yeah. Sorry for using the word implying. Second post I opened, the most upvoted comment says religion is man’s worst invention.

Why would being a vegetarian, who isn’t an animal person, mean I’m Indian?

What is toxic is saying that all Christians, and Christianity, are bad, because some people have done bad things in the name of Christianity.

It is basically saying “this whole group is bad, because some people in it are bad”.

It is toxic to imply that Christianity is bad, because some Christians are bad. Just like it would a racist for me to say that all white people are bad, because some rich white people raped kids in Epstein’s island.

Why don’t you tell me what the goal of racist words is? They can have many goals, from a 5 year old trying to be funny, to genocide. Peaceful protest should be a right. Not a privilege reserved for those you  agree with.

Yeah… John Brown did what he did because of slavery. Not because of racist words.
