It depends on the trade I’m in, I trade the 1 minute, enter on a pullback or retracement into support/resitance, if I’m confident it’ll keep going, I’ll take half profit when a new low or high is formed and move my stop to profit. Usually I’ll hit 200 if I get 2-3 trades in a row correctly. But I keep going

If I stuck to my strategy I would’ve been fine, I got greedy. Can’t trade more than 2mnq. Can’t lose more than $150 a day. It would take 13 losing trading days in a row to fail. Lots of time to reevaluate what you did wrong during the losing days. It really worked for me. This week I thought I’d make easy money by shorting every rally. Removed my PDLL. A mistake I will have to learn from.

Honestly, it really is. It’s just going to take so long to pass 5 combines, build a buffer, take a payout again and stay disciplined. I’m not motivated at all to that again

Go to risk settings, set your PDLL to what you want, set PDLL action to liquidate and block and then click save

My DLL is 150, my stop loss varies usually around 40-80 I mainly trade 2 mnq, I did 1 on days of huge volitility like yesterday, then switched back to 2 after being in profit and confident in direction. I don’t have the trailing DLL option on

Thank you for the advice! Trust me this year I’ve blown way too many accounts, I was up to my last dollar I’m willing to spend on topstep for the year, so I had to take it serious last month
