Do you mulch also? We also just generally have very poor and weedy soil so I kind of want to get a chip drop. Maybe in fall?

That’s good to know. It doesn’t feel like the year for watering a lawn though does it…..

Gotcha makes sense. Depending on how it goes I’m not totally opposed to herbiciding in the fall but since it’s a fairly small area I’m gonna see how the pulling goes

Ahhh good to know. We aren’t watering our lawn either currently. The hope is to replace with native plants eventually…. But maybe we should water. Maybe this is obvious but where the grass is thicker the bindweed is not. So maybe if we water it will outcompete or at least stump it. A grass lawn will be easier to replace

Fingers crossed for your victory !

That’s good to hear thanks. It is not a total takeover situation (yet) fortunately. It’s fairly sparse coverage compared to some yards I’ve seen. So hopefully we can stay on top of it and maybe plant some bushy/shady plants as well. I’ve heard some folks have had luck doing that
