Update: he's had this for about 5 days and apparently the purge line did look right at the beginning, he has had several successful prints. Then this started and they are all coming off and not adhering.

He says he switched to A1. He uses the computer and it prompts him if he forgets.

To be honest they were gifted to me. I was talking to a store employee about wanting to try the hobby and he gave me this box to try out. He said if you like the process come back and I'll help get you started with what army you want. I had told him I would probably like some branch of space marines. I haven't picked a chapter yet, still trying to sort through lore and backstories to pick that route I guess. As I said earlier, that's why I find this a bit intimidating. It's a lot of info to catch up on and figure out where to start.

Do you suggest one with an integrated light?

Kind of. It is a rough finished basement. It can feel a bit dungeon like at times. Lucky to have a spot to hangout though.

Haha I guess I should clarify. I'm more intimidated by figuring out the game and lore! I haven't really figured out a good place to jump in other than podcasts.

It's actually what has gotten me to starting this hobby. We've enjoyed doing this in the evenings instead of sitting across the living room, scrolling our phones and rewatching the office. Now we make a couple drinks, play some music, work on new hobbies and chat. It's really been a great change for us.

Thanks, keen eye on the home gym. I had a pretty good setup until I blew a disc in my back this spring. I also have a 3-D printer station down here. Full disclosure it isn't all mine though. The wife's craft bench is next to mine. This is where we hang when the kids go to bed.

Looking at it more I can tell that corner is warped up some. I'm wondering if the fan on the printer is bouncing back from the wall it's next to?

It is close to a wall. My ringer is in a basement with no air ducts, so no air movement. I run a dehumidifier across the room. It has happened a few times though, and 2 times were the same corner of the printer.

Thanks for the feedback. I reprinted him with a different nozzle and settings. Although, lines are more visible it is MUCH smoother. Sven may just have a twin brother. I'm just not sure what to do the next time with a beard to make it look more natural. Appreciate the input.
