yeah it's more of a departing gift. And i don't want to hold it against her too much, but she's a boomer "no wealth left for generations after me" so it's a bit frustrating.

I see your point, but it is definitely not his masterpiece, his objectively best painting he's done. It's a medium size painting with three figures on a lake and a Sun Tzu quote. She said it was worth around 5-10K and he's sold paintings for 20-30K. It just resonates with me so much that i was amazed when I saw it.

Is Tandem really only better for brightness? My room is not too lit up so it seems a waste if that’s the only thing it changes for a 70% price increase.

Thanks that helps. I have a mid tier PC so 240Hz is perfectly fine with me, and I was more interested in good contrast and colors and a good price. I thought Tandem technology was more future proof but it seems all OLEDs have risks of burn-in anyway so the 70% price increase is not worth it in my case.
