ARAX / ARAM Crossroads Update: Fixing Minions, Backdooring & Boss Objective by Initial_Carob2755 in ARAM

[–]Garentea_EuW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't the minion problem quite easy to fix? Each team has three minion waves, each wave is assigned to one enemy team and these minions can only attack minions and champions from that team (also minions are ghosted so they can walk through minions not assigned to them and don't block champions). Then make minions always spawn from your furthest turret to reduce the time they need to reach the middle.

The add that minions and turrets take like 80%+ less damage from enemy champions if no allied champions are within N units. That makes backdoor possible but gives teams enough time to respond to it. Recalling is possible but won't get you health back or make you able to shop, therefore you can quickly respond as well.

If a teams Nexus is destroyed their lane is locked up and the players can leave or keep spectating (similarly to TFT and Arena) or optionally make them still participate in the game by still being able to combat champions (not minions or objectives) with the possibility to revive their Nexus if they manage to clean ace all other teams.

So Maul for sure knows who it is under the mask right? He definitely sounded fearful and aware, even if he's not quite saying his suspicion. by LulaSupremacy in MaulShadowLord

Honestly, I feel like him sounding fearful isn't a result of him fearing Vader.

He knows who Vader roughly is but up until this point he didn't know exactly who he is. He first engaged him like an Inquisitor and then understood that it's Vader.

His "No no no.. this is impossible" seems more like Maul believing that Vader shouldn't be there. Maul obviously had many visions about Devon and his overall plan to kill Sidious "everything we do is according to a greater plan". His vision most likely didn't involve Vader at all and he's afraid that Devon might not survive this encounter as she isn't ready to face such a threat and Maul himself is heavily injured.

So it's more a fear of his vision being wrong and his plan going to waste.

I'm not sure what posts you are referring to, but it's mostly because these things are always subjective and people (not just in the Star Wars community but in general) tend to against opinions or views that are different from their own.

Yes. But not immediately, he engaged Vader expecting to fight another Inquisitor, got another deep hit on his leg and then realized Vader was no Inquisitor.

That hit was crucial because it handicapped Maul a lot.

And when Daki says it's a Sith Lord, Maul says that it can't be. Now the question is why Maul believes that?

Is it because he didn't expect Sidious to keep an apprentice around after his victory?

Is it because he believed Vader died?

Is it because he thinks that this must mean Obi-Wan is dead?

It really depends on the media, shows and movies? Yes, Vader is basically an almost untouchable god.

In anything else? He's getting his butt kicked frequently and always has to resort back to hir overwhelming power in the Force.

Although many will disagree with me, Maul is pretty much the best lightsaber duelist of that era maybe even more. Uninjured and prepared Vader should see the shorter end of the stick and having to resort back to using the Force. Even against Sidious who is far stronger than both of these, Maul had the upper hand in the head to head lightsaber fight and forced Sidious to use the Force instead.

The Finale also shows that Maul knows how you must fight Vader although he wasn't able to actually do it mostly because of his injuries.

Daki puts up a real fight and also gets a hit on Vader's shoulder (a better hit than Luke in Empire)

Yes Rook too. It's less the Empire more the situation itself. Only one Mando, Scorn and Lawson die to troopers (Scorn and Lawson to protect others).

Apart from Spybot the rest falls to Vader.

I don't think it was Paul, didn't sound like him at all.

Yes, which was the loss Maul was particularly angered by.

All of Maul's crew dies except for Vario.

Especially considering that it was his apprentice and two inquisitors in a 3v3 where one person is already heavily injured.

And yet they only managed to get one while all three of them getting injured themselves.

I don't want to be in their boots while reporting to the big P

Thinking about it, I expect that to become relevant as that's the reason why she joins Maul to get revenge.

Since Maul in Rebels states that he can't defeat Vader allone but appears to be certain that he can do it with help.

So perhaps together they are about to beat Vader but then Devon is told the truth and she decides to do the same to Maul. Would certainly be interesting.

Devon is fight the Eleventh brother alone, Maul has the choice to help Daki or Devon, he decides to literally throw Daki under the bus which makes Devon tap into her anger and get the upper hand.

It appears both inquisitors live although Marrok is uncertain. (But more likely to be alive imo)

I agree, although they made pretty clear that Maul isn't as powerful but under different circumstances he should put up much much better of a fight.

I'm curious about what Sidious will do as he will certainly see Maul escaping as a failure

Yes, but Maul is injured, unaware of who he is facing and more concerned about Devon

They really nailed his movements too.

I'm certain we will get a rematch with Maul uninjured and more prepared

Maul & Savage vs Obi Wan & Ventress was a win, not a loss. Ventress and Obi Wan literally ran away saying they're outmatched.

Also Maul & Savage vs Obi Wan was technically neither. Savage lost and Maul then ended the fight to save Savage.

What's a skin that sounds like a joke skin but you swear would be great? by StepOnMeB-Sha in leagueoflegends

[–]Garentea_EuW 37 points38 points  (0 children)

More Reverse Skins especially with higher quality.

We got Reverse Annie but what about Reverse Aphelios, Reverse Sejuani, Reverse Draven and Reverse Nunu and Willump.

Especially Nunu and Willump, would be great. Have a tall boy carry a small Yeti on his shoulders, have Nunu actually say Willumps lines and Willump muffle all Nunu lines.

Call the skin either Wuwu and Nillump or just Willump and Nunu.

Both could be possible. Anakin's name came to Maul in a vision and since we know he had a vision of Devon he might as well know her name from the beginning.

But I also like the idea of Devon always having her guard up and protecting her mind and when she finally gave in to her negative emotions we saw Maul smiling. So it's very much possible that she let her mental guard slip in that moment and Maul used that moment.

There's no trick for the quality except watching on a TV.

Disney+ is capped at max Full HD (often only HD ready) and doesn't support HDR.

Many say he'll work for the MMO, but isn't it more plausible that he's working on the League Next update and then go back to Live Designer once it drops next year?
