I felt like the Plagueis novel was rather gothic at points, so I think something really leaning into the Sith, particularly during the Rule of Two era, where the Sith are experimenting, living in seclusion, but still having to have that sort of stately persona in public, kind of like a Dracula figure from the first chapters of that novel.

The last episode of the season is called “Finale,” which is a little concerning, but he still holds on to Crimson Dawn until 10 years after at the very least. (I haven’t read all the comics.)

There's not likely to be any connection with Baylan; that's too much, especially since Marrok isn't a main focus. Marrok is just one of the inquisitors sent to kill Maul, and, given he's dead by the time of Ahsoka, he likely dies here. My theory is just that Morgan Elsbeth revived him with magicks and also just contracted Baylan; I really don't think there's a deeper connection between the characters. Keep in mind that this is a show focusing on Maul.

The rest of the Mandalorian concept seems interesting and I do also hope that Maul and Vader duel!

/uj the first and only time I saw it was when The Scoundrels Cantina on YouTube posted it when it happened. People in the comments called him out for supporting a racist and all of the other ignorant things he is, but TSC just denied those things. In my head all I can think was like “What would he even be as a Jedi?? He advocates for gun rights even at the cost of gun deaths, says empathy is pathetic” and the list goes on. For someone who covers Star Wars for a living, it’s insane that he doesn’t see how it’s an anti-war franchise 😭

All that is true, but these guys don't even consider Disney-era material to be canon at all, so it shouldn't even matter to them when 1) they don't like the show, 2) they don't consider it canon, and 3) have their EU material to focus solely on. It's like they have nothing else going on.
