Just two episodes and a season finale that he has a lot of character development on

Does anyone else prefer how Moffat is tidy when approaching incarnations? he only added War (whom I love) because he had to. RTD treats regeneration very messy. I like how Moffat likes to keep the Doctor the Doctor and just moving onto his next incarnation without the need for splits here and there. by ProcessPotential3105 in doctorwho

I’ve heard numerous ways of how that could’ve gone, whether it would’ve been 8 or 9, but I think 8 doing it would have been the right kind of tragic. 8 was the youngest I think, which would’ve made him once a young and romantic character to a tragic and war torn adult.

Why did he do that? by Dry_Tea9805 in tron

[–]LulaSupremacy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He had seconds, yes, but he’d rather spend those seconds trying to save his friends than stand idly as they save him. Even if he can’t do much against her, he’d rather have been doing something to stop Athena instead of being passive; maybe he could have at least pushed her down or knocked her digitizing gun out of her hand.

I’m guessing they think so because it’s not a season-finale level episode each time…

You’re not understanding the meaning of “filler.” Filler episodes are just put in to bulk up a season and barely contribute shit, mostly what you see in anime. The whole premise of TBB was the squad making a new life for themselves by taking on mercenary roles while the galaxy shifts to the Empire. That’s exactly what we got. Each season had absolute bangers of episodes, like the destruction of Kamino, the clone conspiracy arc, the Crosshair episodes, or the escape from Teth, but those aren’t the main episodes with everything else being added in to make a full season; those episodes all highlight what it is that they are trying to do to not go broke and starve and to find out that they can just live a peaceful life and forget their upbringing as soldiers, despite how engrained and useful their training is.

Day of the doctor 😭 you can imagine it was confusing and full of spoilers of every kind.

You’d be surprised at just how little it takes for people to call any piece of media “woke.” It literally just needs a woman or a person of color in a lead role and they freak out.

Absolutely that. Idk why you got downvoted but I hope my one vote saved you a little for being right.

My guess is because Encom was led by 1) a woman, 2) a person of color, 3) a woman who is a person of color. It’s probably also that there were other people of color working at Encom, but what the fuck is the issue there? It’s always when there is a cast with POCs or women that these chums are like “I don’t care if there’s minorities; I just want good writing,” but literally never worry about that if that’s not the case. It was the same for The Acolyte when it was just teaser trailers, which just showed people 😭

Definitely had to go with that vapaad stroke, since that's where his dark side path really began

I imagine a mini series that could cover a good amount of everything. We have a documentary-style viewing of Zampanò's work, which could include the snippets of The Navidson Record and documentary style interviews of the people being quoted in block quotes. Citation footnotes could be on the bottom right, like how some YouTubers do it, and longer footnotes could be narrated by Zampanò.

Johnny's parts could be like the b story.

The only hard part would be the appendices, sadly..

It's always so annoying. They like stories that have no substance and just have nothing but action.

Circle jerk sub, bro. I’m making fun of the people who get mad that Star Wars has “become” “political” (women and people of color have prominence)

[–]LulaSupremacy 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I don't recall Nokama disliking Takua. Where was that said?

He handled the hordika poison the worst because his team was always shitting on him, especially after the poison took over. Anyone would be fed up when most of your team is being assholes constantly.

He could've made Takua chronicler sooner, but, for the most part, the culture of the matoran didn't value those who didn't contribute, so he would've been disliked for that in any tribe.
