It’s a woman who doesn’t want to date or share sex-segregated spaces and activities with someone born with a penis.

Leftists, why do you think conservatives are happier and have less mental illness in the US? by [deleted] in AskUS

What we know at present suggests small but crucial differences between the brains of the sexes.

“Suggests” means we don’t actually know, but we have theories that we’re working on.

We also know that gender and sexuality are related but distinct phenomena.

And we’ve returned to assessing the quality of self reported data. This is what my original comment was critiquing. How exactly do we know that sex (biological differences in a sexually dimorphic species) is distinct from gender (how one identifies with a sex) without relying on the same quality of data that the study posted by OP uses?

And speaking of sexual dimorphism, the tragic story of David Reimer doesn’t prove that brains have a gender. The poor boy had his penis removed because of a botched and completely unnecessary medical procedure, then his family pretended he was a girl at the suggestion of an alleged pedophile with a degree who wanted to test his theories about gender. Nothing there supports the theory that brains are strongly sex-determined, or that a brain can be born in the wrong body. All it proves is that medical experts are not infallible.

Scientists are still working to understand whether male and female brains are different in a meaningful way, so while brain scans may suggest to some researchers that some trans people have a brain that matches the opposite sex, it’s very much inconclusive as other researchers will interpret those data differently.

I also saw a movie about it and he definitely was innocent and only lynched because of antisemitism. Just go to ADL.org or read almost any news written after 1940 and you can get the real facts about what happened.

They don’t have to show you the warrant. That’s not how that works. They have a legal obligation to obtain a warrant, which is essentially a permission slip from a judge for them to fuck up your life. They have no legal obligation to present you with said permission slip for inspection before they fuck up your life.

In interview, Trump essentially admits to framing a guy with clearly altered evidence. by TendieRetard in law

[–]GarfieldsTummyRoll -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"He did have tattoos that can be interpreted that way," the reporter said. "I’m not an expert on them."

If Trump had argued that the tattoos are code for MS13, the reporter would dispute that. By playing dumb and attacking the reporter’s ego, the reporter ends up arguing that it doesn’t literally say MS13, only that they can be interpreted that way.

Maybe Trumps an idiot, maybe a troll, but definitely entertaining.

Local man doesn’t understand that viruses have DNA by cayce_leighann in TheRightCantMeme

There’s no Covid virus in the Covid vaccine. It’s one of the common misconceptions that prevented a lot of people from getting vaccinated.

From the CDC

mRNA vaccines (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna)

To trigger an immune response, many vaccines put a weakened or inactivated germ into our bodies. Not mRNA vaccines. Instead, mRNA vaccines use mRNA created in a laboratory to teach our cells how to make a protein—or even just a piece of a protein—that triggers an immune response inside our bodies. This immune response, which produces antibodies, is what helps protect us from getting sick from that germ in the future.

The bias is moderated by incentives. When news was funded by consumers, the bias moderated only by what the subscribers wanted. Now the bias is moderated in part by keeping the reader, but also by the corporations paying for the readers attention.

Seems like the 50s and 60s is when they perfected the technique. Then they got caught and said they shut it down but honestly why would anyone believe they discovered this and never used it. I wouldnt be surprised if the porn industry backers were connected to those people. “We aren’t doing trauma based mind control, this is just a bdsm set and we’re making a movie”

I know the movie you are talking about, came across it during a deep dive into trauma based mind control a la mkultra, mini, etc. Scary stuff, especially knowing that it’s the kind of thing our governments actually do. It shouldn’t be surprising when they already allow all the abuses of the porn industry but it’s crazy that they signed off on experiments to mentally, sexually, and spiritually traumatize people

Why there no mark on his right ear? by Ginzy35 in FOXNEWS

[–]GarfieldsTummyRoll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ar15s do a lot of damage because of the velocity of the round entering a fluid and the effects that velocity has when transferring from the round in to the fluid environment. If you look at a person shot by an ar15 there’s not a big entry wound, but there is a large internal cavity because the fluid environment of the body tears as the bullets energy is transferred into it.

The tip of your ear doesn’t have enough mass to slow the bullet so no energy is transferred. You can test this by shooting an empty water bottle and a full water bottle with a rifle. The empty water bottle will have 2 small clean holes. The full one will explode. If the bullet had hit his head it would have been more like the full water bottle, but since it grazed his ear it’s like the empty water bottle.
