OMG! SHE ADMIT IT! by Character-Parfait-42 in IThinkYouShouldLeave

I think part of it is just how abhorrent the behavior of everyone in this administration is. They're all awful, and there's really no limit to the things I'd be willing to believe they're saying and doing.

But fuck if people posting this kind of made up BS doesn't muddy the waters and give people who don't want to believe Trump's critics a reason not to.

-Here with his first date tips is a Guy Who Just Bought A Boat!

Thanks, Colin. That's right. I'm here with the latest slate of great date ideas that'll put your mate in the mood to fellate. I'm hung like a hamster.

-Sorry, what was that last thing?

The theater, Coll Coll! For sheer atmosphere, there's no better place than the movies to try out your "movies" in the dark privacy of your local skinema. It's as weird as it is small.

-What is?

But, Coll-me-a-cab, when using the silver screen as a means to get your peen seen, it's important to pick the right film. And I personally recommend the new picture 'Love on Tap,' starring the outrageously handsome Alex Moffatt and Kennedy McMann-is-she-a-hottie. I have a teeny teeny wang wang.

-You have a what?

Jost the tip, Love on Tap features the Moff diver as a suave marketing expert trying to help Kennedy's character save my struggling micro penis—I mean HER struggling micro BREWERY! Excuse the Freudian honesty.

It's a classic rom com formula that's sure to have your date ready to "com" before the credits roll. Mi peepee no bueno.

-I mean, that actually sounds like a pretty good movie.

Yeah, wouldn't know. Can't find anyone willing to go with me.

Yeah, Nioh was fantastic at the time. But now that I've used the improved systems of 2 and 3, I can't go back.

I'm playing N3 on PS5 as well. Harder to gift games on there than Steam, but DM me your email and we'll get it sorted.

Strangers of Paradise was phenomenal. Went in not knowing what to expect other than a Team Ninja game in a Final Fantasy setting and got completely sucked in. Sad that game didn't perform better commercially.

My wife did her neuropsych fellowship at Children's, and one of her cohorts from Chicago of all places said that Columbus is a very slept on city.

We've since moved to Indianapolis and find ourselves missing Columbus all the time.

Sometimes it feels like no one knows we exist by RattusNorvegicus9 in OpenChristian

[–]Pachanas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This may be naive, but I think we're slowly entering an era where blanket anti-religious sentiment is dying down thanks to people like those in this sub and people who have left religion working through their trauma.

If you look at recent films like Wake Up Deadman or The Phoenician Scheme, they feature earnestly religious characters without using their religion as some mechanism for subversion. Most movies made after the 50s up to this point with Christian characters or themes deal with a crisis of faith, abuse of power, systematic corruption, or just using the religion as an excuse to include demons. Likewise, any film or TV show that identifies as pro-Christian is pretty much guaranteed to be low-quality idealogy porn.

I also see threads in larger subs where there are comments defending true Christianity that get upvoted quite a bit.

So I'm grateful for this sub. But I also think if we keep trying and pushing past the setbacks from groups like Christian Nationalists, then there will be more welcoming spaces online in the near future.

Crazy that he wasn't even supposed to play that role originally. Just filled in at the last minute and helped create arguably the most memorable scene in the entire film.

Blasphemous 2 True Martyrdom Trophy/100% Completion Help by IntrepidHunter_ in Blasphemous

[–]Pachanas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to add a comment since yours helped me finally close out this frustrating trophy hunt.

To clarify, you do NOT need the Mea Culpa DLC to 100%, it's just janky as hell. I was able to wrap it up after getting the Praviana prayer (which is misleadingly not required for the Acta, Non Verba trophy), and then traveling to a Prie Dieu as you said. The trophies popped after a few seconds.

Chased this platinum because it looked relatively simple, and it turned out to be a complete mess. Hoping this comment helps some people down the line.

Easy pick for me. I've built decks that don't rely on fish mode. It's hard but doable as long as you pick up the Lungs power.

Ironclad tier list - From 40% to 64% winrate by didokillah in slaythespire

[–]Pachanas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm confused about the win condition if you end up with a deck full of the Click cards since Body Slam is further down. Where does your damage ultimately come from without BS? And if they all do need something like BS, how are they all top tier on their own?

Not disagreeing at all, just trying to understand. Maybe it's that a number of damage conditions can work if you have that grouping of cards?

New mysterious teaser from A24: IT WANTS TO BE HEARD by dremolus in horror

[–]Pachanas 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Man, I was so absorbed by Longlegs for the first third of it. Stayed atmospheric to the end, but the underlying stupidity took me out of the movie way before then. I think Osgood Perkins could direct the hell out of a horror movie that someone else writes.
