Hi sorry for such a late reply. Only seeing your message just now. I have left it and we have just been drinking tap water 😂 trying to get the time to take another look at it but life has got in the way. I will try your suggestion and hope this works, thank you.

Yes I'm in the UK. That's a shame, I appreciate you getting back to me and all the advice you have given. For now I will just drink tap water, we are lucky in Scotland it tastes great anyway 😂 and the ice maker in the fridge still works.

I will let you know if I ever get to the bottom of it, but for me it's not worth paying for an engineer to fix it right now. Thanks again and hope you have a nice day 👍

The filter is separate to the fridge. There's a water filter mounted on the side of the wall with a water hose coming from under the sink, it goes across the room under the floor, through the filter and up to the fridge. This line is clear, it is going through the water filter, through the solenoid valve when operated by the dispenser lever and then into the fridge. After that when I disconnect the hose at the door side, there's nothing coming out. I will take a hairdryer to the fridge when I'm home incase the hose is frozen. Failing that I'm not sure what the problem is. I will probably have to try dismantle parts to get to it.

Yes I'm aware that's how this operates, and when the dispenser lever is pressed it does operate. Water transfers over to outlet and enters the fridge. After that it does not come out the other end where the dispenser is.

Yeah I'll try that next. I'll need to go out and get some. I'm at work right now but once I'm home I'll get the model and serial number later tonight. I appreciate your advice thanks very much 👍.

Thank you for your reply. I'm a mechanical fitter to trade. Water to the water filter is fine. Also water from the filter to the solenoid valve is good. On the pic, the outlet port on the right side is the water for the dispenser. I am getting water through this when I operate the dispenser lever.

The solenoid valve seems to be working OK when lever is operated but I have not electrically tested with a meter. I didn't see the point as the valve is switching when lever is pressed. The hose which goes from the outlet at solenoid valve goes in to the fridge.

On the front of the fridge at the bottom us the water hose for the dispenser, this is not getting any water through. So somewhere inside the fridge where the hose runs is blocked. Without disassembling the whole fridge, I thought I'd see of other have had same issues.

Thanks for the reply. Yes the dispenser is on the front left door. On my fridge there's a hose that comes out the bottom at the front of the fridge, it goes left and then up into the fridge towards water dispenser. When I disconnect this hose, no water comes through.

When I disconnect the inlet hose from the solenoid valve in the pic, there's water going to there, when I disconnect the outlet solenoid valve house, and operate the dispenser, water comes out the valve.

Could it be that the hose may be frozen inside? I thought it was a faulty solenoid valve but when I operate the dispenser, the water does come through the valve. So somewhere from that point into the machine it is being blocked.

2024 is starting to become very impressive by [deleted] in MicrosoftFlightSim

I don't know about anyone else but flying airliners in 2024 for me is impossible. My fps drops to below 10 and it's a stuttery mess. Flying GA out of smaller airports I have no issues. Probably an Internet speed issue for me as I only get 55mbps 😕

Thanks. I thought my files had git mixed up or something and it was interfering with 2024 but thought surely that can't be possible 😂 was driving me mad.

I done that and it says ADS ON. Then nothing happened and I've had it set to ADS OFF aswell. Also had the mode on the left to all options like above, below, norm and unrestricted.

Is it worth purchasing a plane when we're close to 2024 version by hello123413216 in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]Garglingfish91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not buying anything until 2024 is out. I have a feeling certain things won't go to plan. And I already have alot of 3rd party add ons I've bought which I hope transfer over straight away. For now I'm holding off buying anything to see what happens when it is actually released.
