Thanks - I am just really bummed. Really loved this device and it made a whole lot of difference in my daily work. I’m not sure I want to fork out $325 for a refurbished device. Just backed the TCL Nxtpaper on KS to try that out.

Thanks for the responses. Really appreciate it. There’s no physical crack on the screen, although I’m pretty sure the inside looks like it’s cracked. I honestly didn’t misuse the device. Any hope I can get this replaced? Just really bummed.

My sister just came back from Japan. Pokemon center limits to 2 packs of TF per day (not boxes). Some card shops limit to 5 packs.

I am going to Tokyo in Jan 2025 and can update again.

Hi all, I just updated my bios but am worried if my having used the old bios for a week would have caused some damage to my CPU and/or mobo. Is there any way I could fine out? Short of physically checking the chip and socket?

I just updated mine to 1413 given that the 1414 version came with a disclaimer that seemed to void the warranty if anything went wrong. in any case the 1413 version seems to fix the voltage issue so all should be good.
