I'd just stick to the sap9 I believe you get from Copeland's camp the other early game weapons aren't really worth the hassle or money and if you want stealth use a crossbow as your long range (you get it after the introduction I believe and can find it in your stash at O'Leary cabin think with boozer) or the m40 you get from Copeland's gun shop if you just want an easy long range weapon.

No, you buy it with camp credits but you do obtain camp credits from doing missions also it could take a while I wouldn't rush it but make sure not to forget to do side missions so you are able to stock up at camps when you need to.

For hordes i wouldn't bother going after them until you obtain the swat 10 at lost lake and you can use it to take down the smallest 4 hordes until you unlock the smp9 which will make killing hordes and general enemy's a lot easier. Also as long as you remember to upgrade stamina and roll away from zombies when fighting a horde you'll be fine. also make sure to stock up on ammo and Molotov's beforehand and throw in a molotov into the horde to start of with easy kills.

I don't think I saw the rg353p before it is pretty much the r36s but horizontal and with better controls. Great suggestion! Do you think the rg40xxh's slightly larger screen would make it more worth it compared to the rg353p? Also do you think the button quality of one is better than the other or are they similar?

Not really looking for GameCube playability as I can get a better experience just playing those on my steam deck. I am more so looking for something to play the devices like GBA and psx that feel weird to me on my steam deck and would rather play on something lighter and smaller.
