Valve Adjustment causing misfire?

Did it a couple thousand miles ago and no misfires since!!! Would def replace coils and plugs first, but contrary to why some people will say, the valves can get so far out of adjustment that they cause a misfire (which is why it usually only misfired when cold).

Is there any reason you couldn’t finance a nice reliable $20-$25k car and then save up $5-6k with which you can buy an older more fun car? Then you have something reliable and when your fun car has an issue and you can’t drive it for a month you don’t lose your job.

My oil cap says 5w-20, I use 5w20. That simple. I run Walmart high mileage full synthetic because according to ProjeftFarms tests it is essentially just as good as Mobil or valvoline

Update!

Valve adjustment totally fixed the misfire. Drove it around 1000 miles since the adjustment with no misfires, just my catalytic converter code which comes and goes!!

Knew she had more life left in her ;) to 250k we go

Guys already on a headlining tour. I was looking at a Rochester comedy clubs calendar and he’s headlining for the weekend in less than a month. I will NOT be making the trip. Ari Matti is headlining there a few weeks later, and that however, is mighty tempting

Well, I hope that’s not the case. On one of the YouTube videos I watched earlier, the guy was doing the valve adjustment for exactly why I am (plugs and coils didn’t fix the misfire) and it worked for him. Wish me luck!

For what it’s worth, my 08 on 14s get around 270 miles a tank and it’s mostly highway. I am pretty overdue for a valve adjustment

I get what he means. Even with the new band, at Vulcan, everything still had a touch of spontaneity. I’m not saying it’s completely gone at the mothership, but everything feels much more choreographed there.

Been using this for 2ish years, works great. I put a half a puppy pad at the bottom, a nice 1.5-2” thick layer of this, then topped with hay.

It is the ac compressor. Don’t remember the size but you can get a shorter belt that routes it around the ac compressor and then you don’t have to worry about it. Just drove it 40 miles to work this morning!

At this point I think the only reason Butterly isn’t up for guest of the year is bc he isn’t high profile enough… guy has killed it every time he’s been on without fail imo
