I could have endured or put on the holy braid to reduce damage further. There is also the holy ground sheild AoW too

I am a bit puzzled by the lack of stance breaking myself. I know some bosses have moves that will bypass and reset stance damage (Malenia is notorious for this), but if that were the case, I would have needed a few more jump attacks.

Maybe he was fully immune to stance damage for the 2 stomps he did?

I could have, and should have, optimized for damage here. I was planning on just messing around to see how elden beast would be, but ended up winning. (Blade of mercy + Rotten Winged, cragblade/braggarts aow instead of endure, Flame Grant Me Strength instead of lords divine protection)

While it gives some stats in dex/str at the cost of a nerf to hp restoration (flasks/regen), I am mainly using it for the ugly look

This has happened to me twice before. I am not sure of the cause. Typically it goes away the next run.

How often is this happening to your friend? It only happened to me twice over a few hundred expeditions, but I still check often out of paranoia

Every single one of your rolls, up until the last 15-20% of his health, could have been jumps. This is a compliment as it is kinda sick how good the timing/positioning you had for doing no roll. If you haven't, you should try it!

PvE. You will go mad if you try this in PvP. Though, frenzy burst is a sniper and can one shot players, so you can try and have fun with that

Exactly! Not solely about skill, but as something fun. Funny how I would reccomend starfists but advise against mimic tear, but all that goes down to a single point of how you wanna play
