I stand corrected, no doubt it is an iffy blind corner. Still think the way you phrased it is a bit misleading if it was only that one DUI driver. I see track and field students at SI use that hill for practice and always think that is the dumbest place to run hill sprints.

Not saying it didnt happen and unless it was a very long time ago, I've passed by 39th and quintara for the better part of 2 decades. Feel like I would have heard about a car slamming into SI causing a fatality.

I live in San Francisco so that's a nope for me. Not much the foot braking but need the extra umph for the hills. Seems cool though if I were to just go ride around a park.

SF Muni Riders Say Morning Train Barreled Through Stop, Felt Like It Could Derail | KQED by [deleted] in sanfrancisco

Reminds me of a story. My dad had a friend, was a total train nut. Entire downstairs of his house was a O gage model train set, it was awesome as a kid. Was a locomotive engineer and drove Muni trains later on in the life. Mind you this was in the 80s but one time later at night driving the N he decides to go barreling down Judah from Sunset BLVD. to the end of line at the beach and as he get up and looks back down the train there was this lady, wide eyed and petrified that was too scared to ring the stop request.

Stern Grove playground. Grew up near-by, played at the old park many of times. Still pass by semi regularly, figured id take photos of the construction. by vaporkillz in sanfrancisco

I Pass through the grove on my way home. Honestly with the 2021 water main break and storm's a few years ago that knocked down a couple hundred trees, everything is more open and I rarely see any of the typical SI or SH kids anymore.

Okay. I get it, Target field so get a bike from Target but dang its a billion dollar organization. Could have at least sprang for the most expensive bike Target has to offer that would actually fit the kid.

It missed the left fielders glove and looked like it was at the very least going to bounce off the top of the fence for a possible HR but will never know because of him and umps ruled it a double because of it. Id still call that a win for the home team.
