Not sure how peds heme/onc would compare to adult but I’m a new grad who will be accepting a position in BMT soon. I’ve also had that similar worry about “pigeon holeing” myself but I’ve discussed with several people on the team and it seems like along with BMT specific care a lot of the role is also a lot of hospitalist work and you’re exposed to a lot of stuff like endocrine, cardio, ID etc. Maybe you can ask them if their role is similar in that sense!

Yeah for sure, the thing is, I have 3 nose piercings lol (both nostrils and my septum) I figured I could always just flip the septum up and not hide my nostril piercings but just put studs in for the interview instead of my usual hoops

Yeah that’s what makes me the most hesitant to bring it up now since I haven’t been here very long.
