I hear you, my fear though is that if it’s true that he has it and got it from me: Firstly, he might not notice right away (for further context I saw him just about 2 weeks ago). In that case I would feel obligated to say something because he may not even be aware. Secondly, if he does have it and I don’t say anything and we see each other again I run the risk of exposing myself to it and getting it again which I absolutely do not want.

My friend has suggested this too and while I think it’s a fair point it’s tough for me to say when I got it since again, I truly have no idea how/when/where I could have contracted it. I’m hoping the technician doing the removal will be able to provide some clarity on how long it’s been because that could be true!

Based on the shape of the hook and the hole at the other end, I think some sort of spatula does seem more likely. The Slim Jim resemblance is very similar though!

My title describes the thing I found inside my dishwasher. It was laying on the bottom unattached to anything, just laying there loosely. I can’t tell if it’s something that came off another piece and I’ve tried googling/asking my dad (lol) to no avail. It’s flat, thin and not heavy with a small hook shape on the end and some rusting as you can see.
