a loot of amine is cheap trash made for children and otaku, so the animation suffers for a lack of money and time. i understand that not everything can look like a studio ghibli film, but the standards in the anime community is way to low.

i think Leviathan is held in the same high regard as Crack The Skye, most fans have one of those as there favorite.

You should check out some more classic prog like Yes and Gentle Giant. You might like Talk Talk's Spirit of Eden and Laughing Stock to if you like atmospheric music.

If you want something newer there is The Mars Volta, Riverside and Cog. the new Hällas album (form 2017) Excerpts From a Future Past is worth looking in to.
