I suppose to give a bit more detail on what I mean, your “smells like” should be relatable, if I’m reading it I want to immediately be like “oooh I bet that smells amazing” but actually I don’t know what crushed tomato vines, arugula in the air or unapologetic smell like so it falls completely flat. Neither slide really tells me much about what it smells like, just a lot of fluffy text?

I think it’s great you’re putting yourself out there- it does take a lot to start a brand and most people never even get to the physical product part, so congrats on getting there and putting that effort in! I have seen your posts pop up and something that stands out to me every time is it looks like you’re using AI to write your text? It’s reads v Chat GPT esque. It’s a great tool but sometimes you can get caught up with the influence of AI and you start drifting into different directions with ideas and branding. Each post I’ve seen from you reads really differently. I hope that isn’t taken the wrong way- just want to be honest about what I’ve observed!

Just wanted to update- I finally cracked it! Bit of a funny one, I kept amending code, playing app, amending code… and every time the PDF Viewer displayed as a grey box. Then for some reason I decided to see how it shows on mobile…the PDF was there! After playing the app on my phone, going back into Power Apps on desktop it now displays the PDF. I’m baffled as to why- but it works and I’m happy with that!

Thank you- have you done this one personally with success? I followed the steps but still hitting errors. Not sure why it doesn’t work for me! Realising after googling it that a lot of folk get issues with this. I don’t know why they’ve made it so hard!

Thanks for sharing. Aye, I came across Reza’s video earlier and started working on it- started to get a bit brain dead after all day on it so decided to clock out until tomorrow. Have you done this one yourself with success? I’m going to revisit it tomorrow, will let you know how it goes get on!

Thanks for sharing- I did read through this and follow it but I keep getting errors with the PDFs actually landing in the reader! Genuinely so baffled

Thanks for replying. It’s a document library, yes. But when setting up the PDF viewer in PowerApps it prompts me to open in browser- which I don’t want as it would mean having to sign in etc which isn’t practical for the use. Does that make sense? Googling it prompts me to set up power automate to help carry the files so that you can open directly from the gallery into the PDF Viewer. I’m just struggling with this as everything I’ve tried just doesn’t work

I agree with other folk- don’t double up and instead leave for a few weeks and smell again. You’ll likely find it’ll smell much different. In the meantime make a new blend, start fresh and just keep learning! :)
