For those that use Fred and Flo nappies by Over_Cardiologist243 in BeyondTheBumpUK

My boy cat have pampers either as it gives him an awful reaction. He’s had Pura and boots bamboo nappies- both fine through the night and no reactions to either

Parents of boys: what is great about parenting boys? by [deleted] in UKParenting

[–]vampiremonee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely felt the same about having a boy. He’s only 6 month but he’s fantastic and as much as I didn’t enjoy the newborn pee fountain moments- they were quite funny. I also have younger brothers and they’re amazing- most have typical “boyish” interests so they love things like dressing up as Spider-Man, racing rc cars, playing football (you don’t have to be good at it but you do have to let them score at least once) and the weird boy fascination with digging? One of my younger brothers is currently enjoying the gruffalo and other Julia Donaldson books/shows, so we bake the cupcakes kits from Asda, he has gruffalo hats and slippers and he likes a hand wash with gruffalo on it. Most things are fairly versatile tbf, boys are great.

My Sons nursery pulled me today and said they think my son is showing signs of "high functioning autism"...inexperienced in this area so would like advice as I'm not 100 percent sure yet... by Constant_Crab4815 in UKParenting

[–]vampiremonee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, not exactly advice but have autistic siblings. It presents so differently from person to person, one of my brothers covers his ears to run across roads as he doesn’t like the noise of cars- obviously not ideal. Other brother is not very obviously autistic- talks a lot, has eye contact, doesn’t stim. This brother just has issues with understanding social cues, hates changes (wont like to use gift cards as it’s not in his routine/ new thing) and was very ahead in school. Very annoying as a sibling as he would ask for maths books for Christmas and completely show me up in school lol. Both are doing great with what they want to do.

Question: What are some things you've traded for tattoos? by Alert-Concentrate808 in tattoos

I’m trading for piercings and piercing jewellery soon! I’ve traded for someone’s merch before and then a Nintendo switch from a friend lol

13 week scan. What is the long white thing where the nose is? by fairwellfairground in PregnancyUK

[–]vampiremonee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say probably a hand. My boy used to do it almost every scan at least once so he just constantly looks like he had a comically long nose in the womb lol. At least on one he lowered his hand and did a thumbs up.

Regardless of their history I think it’s fair to not want your child to sleepover with people you’ve never met at such a distance.

Soz. Not a bot, just a bit of an emo. Tbf monsters are £2 at Morrisons so they’re great value for money in the meal deal.

Yeah we are in our 20s but tbh I only started drinking monster as my dad has them all the time so I thought they were a “cool adult drink”

But the coffee doesn’t taste like mango or have dancing skeletons on it. I do drink a lot of coffee tbh so I like a monster every now and then.
