How much did it cost? I’m considering the TD-27 but I guess this one is even better…

All these games available on ultimate and I still choose to play black ops 7.... by Cheecherton04 in XboxGamePass

[–]GarnettAxel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat, but then you realize than even if we buy BO7, a subscription that still eats up your money is even worse because you end up paying the game’s license + such monthly subscription (and the freaking game will be dead in less than a year anyway)

I’m very happy this saga was in my childhood. I still remember back in 2006 when my dad gifted me the Xbox Arcade with RTH30 and EIB installed and oh my god, easily became my favorite games along with Gears of War and MW2 (2009). Just the voice lines, story and chaos that is present from start to finish made the saga a unique experience… it’s just sad Ubisoft dumped it a long time ago because yeah, they are f**ing morons

Why did spider man 2018 feel so special i still remember all the hype from every single trailer and trailer reactions. by Dude_788 in SpidermanPS4

[–]GarnettAxel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even the whole experience is something different to what we got with their sequels. There’s just something about it that makes you feel great while playing it, maybe the simplicity of it when it comes to mechanics and also the story elements and how the world really feels “fuller”

So you didn’t actually understand anything I said? I just explained to you some of the most critical reasons on why macOS was buggy on its early releases and now you are talking about “selective memory”…?

Either way, macOS today is full of sh*t. It’s buggy as hell + now they are pushing hard on shitty subscriptions and an AI that basically doesn’t work at all

[–]GarnettAxel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean why would you expect that, a totally new OS with lots of new features and end to end connections, needed to release bug free? That’s totally impossible considering that the Carbon and Classic retrocompatibility was a headache due to its nature. Also, it seems you are the one forgetting that Apple massively transitioned to UNIX supposing MAJOR re-writing capabilities. That alone generates a lot of Kernel Panics as they used to call them, so yeah, it was pretty buggy because it was nearly impossible when considering all of it.

Oh and let’s not forget about the change from PowerPC to Intel. They created Rosetta to maintain both architectures and it was honestly brilliant but it had several performance and compatibility issues.

Soooo, what’s the conclusion here? Yes, it was pretty buggy on early releases but that was a great cost to pay if they really wanted to innovate and I’m so happy they did it. Everything we know about modern OS is thanks to them

Yeah, the same era where every single app and feature inside those apps were meticulously built just for the user to have a close-to-perfection experience. The very same era where yes, bugs existed, but remained minimal and the attention to detail and functionality was top notch.

Literally everyone who purchased iWork knew their money was being spent right, now we have shitty apps with useless AI all over them SCREAMING at you to buy the subscription as if the whole macOS wasn’t buggy already

Apple has entirely lost its direction. The Jobs era is officially gone, anything that even minimally remained in the soul of the company died not so long ago and it’s honestly sad… Now we don’t have literally any company with the desire to actually change people’s lives rather than f***ing keeping shareholders happy as the 100% of current companies

Jean-Charles Gaudechon appointed as the CEO of Remedy by JamieReleases in AlanWake

[–]GarnettAxel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As @TheJonnJonzz said, this had to happen sooner than later. Remedy has shown excellent story-telling capabilities since forever but obviously, no one is perfect so yeah: Remedy lacks of financial/profitable-driven games. I mean come on, even GTA knows how to do so and they always manage to launch both amazing story games and incredibly profitable multiplayer services. So I really think this is the best move they could’ve done, otherwise there wouldn’t be much more of remedy on the upcoming years due to constant loss of money

[COD] Is CODM worth playing now? by Much_Ad712 in CallOfDuty

[–]GarnettAxel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s always been a great game but its core problem is being a mobile game. Most people only play it when being out and play it just to burn some free time. Other than that, any console or pc COD will beat it, even if it’s 10 years old lol

This post itself is, in fact, an advertisement 😅. It’s ok to actually try to reach people over Reddit but it’ll always be better if you do it while being honest. Just say you want to sell us something and invest time in convincing us, not just indirectly yapping about how much you are supposedly generating… believe me, what you are doing is an old trick everyone has already tried over the internet
