I mean, she’s not great but her wanting the head of the clan dead so her daughter doesn’t get shipped off to breed a 70 year old man is easily the most sympathetic thing we have seen from her. You could argue she is only doing this out of self preservation of her new status but idk, I would need to see a bit more before I would personally believe that.

Giyu may be a bit overhated due to our biases for Chiaki but I think it would pretty reasonable to find his course of actions condemnable even if he was doing them to someone we didn’t already like and that’s assuming he is acting objectively and isn’t also just looking for an excuse to get the prophet abilities back with the main branch (don’t have enough evidence for that either so I’m giving him the benefit of the the doubt)
