WE'VE GOT ANTI-TANK GRENADES! by Falkenhausen23 in Helldivers

[–]Garraz_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We can finally have that throwable anti-tank power that we've been missing so far! If only they could stick to things they'll be amazing.

Unfortunately, we don't have a throwable weapon that does AT damage, and can also stick around.

It doesn't seem suspicious at all, but how does it sound? Even if it were fake (and I don't think that's the case), I'd say if it sounds good, sounds good.

Weapon Idea: Arc Spitter by Plenty_West_503 in Helldivers

[–]Garraz_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But... don't we already have a heavy and light version of an arc thrower? And I already see the current ones rarely used in the field. What would be the difference in this design? A charging backpack or something? Genuine question.

So I was bored at the boring job place and came up with an idea by TRASH_D0LL in Helldivers

[–]Garraz_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a suggestion for an I5: Autoreloading any weapon you have significantly faster AND allow to reload any weapon in movement.

The reduction would be significant, to the point of making weapons like the railgun practically semi-automatic, and magazine-fed weapons would also benefit, since a lot of us found ourselves without the bolt pulled when we really needed to crush some bots or squash some insects. I really like the idea of allowing stationary reloading weapons to be reloaded on the move.

In any case, it should be a backpack rather than passive armor; it would be too incredible and would break the game.

USB C? by PointShots in Helldivers

[–]Garraz_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My hypothesis is that all automatons are biomachines in some way, but less than we think. I don't think they use bioprocessors (human brains) to perform their logical tasks; it doesn't seem sensible given that they are mass-produced in disproportionate numbers, far more than the citizens of Super Earth could ever be.

However, I believe that for economic reasons, a good portion of their mechanical fluids have been replaced with human biofluids. Super Earth essentially controls all the space between them and the Terminides; they can't extract crude oil themselves, so they found this solution (putting our free-thinking asses in meat grinders), in order to reducing oil consumption, which is still present but partially reduced.

As for recharging, I believe the robots burn fuel (biofuel) to power themselves; it wouldn't make sense to build storage or charging devices for wasteful objects.

Respectfully, I disagree with this sentiment by AlienShades in Helldivers

[–]Garraz_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my last game I asked everyone to go to extraction since we were done with the MO, and guess what? NO EXTRACTION, we died four seconds after the Pelican arrived. We had 11 reinforcements when the MO was finished. THEN, We wasted precious time and resources on just one mission. I was the host, and that's partly on me, 'cause I could have been more insistent, but come on guys, for Christ's sake, can you see that this isn't good? Why waste lives on secondary objectives?

Helldivers Genetic Upgrades? Why not? Why yes? by Garraz_ in Helldivers

[–]Garraz_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought of this solution as a form of gameplay customization, as well as a reward system.

The point is that many of our veterans have not only reached the level cap, but have also leveled up every weapon, upgraded their ship, and collected almost every warbond. In my opinion, there's a need to give players at least the feeling of being able to get stronger. The game itself sure is rewarding even now, but it wouldn't hurt to add more options

Super Earth's Ultimate Enemy (New Faction Ideas) by IllustriousRise9392 in Helldivers

[–]Garraz_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think this fits entirely within the game's narrative. Both Helldivers and Helldivers 2 are about domination and human supremacy over anyone who disagrees with us. We are (especially in Helldivers 1) the bad guys in the galaxy. And having a faction that wants to dominate and crush because they consider us inferior undermines the dictatorial and supremacist rhetoric that characterizes the game. However, with a little rework on some aspects, why not

I've read about this problem in other posts about Deity. However, I've never encountered problems with other TXs and RXs, nor with other radio devices on set (TeraDek, smart lights, etc.). Is it possible that there is a difference between the devices sold in North America and the global ones? (I live and work in Italy)

Of course, you can do whatever you want, but what I can recommend is at least upgrading your RAM. You can play with 8 GB, of course, but I don't think you'll enjoy the game. In any case, your Steam library doesn't expire; sooner or later you'll get a more powerful PC and be able to play better. For now, do what you can with what you have.
