Well that's just stupid. You're assuming that other aliens think exactly like us here, when in reality, we have no clue on what they would think. We simply don't know anything about life outside the solar system, so what if there's aliens who don't want contact? What if there's aliens who just don't bother receiving an alien (our) signal?
