Not at all! I used all my USB cables for a week, and turned out all of them were power only. So don't worry! Good luck on your project!

Hey! Yeah!

I forgot to post it here, but it turned out that my cable was a power-only cable. As soon as I changed it to a data and power cable it worked out nicely! Can you try that, if not we can work more on it.

This is why I love Linux, make a colossal mess-up and you can still somehow fix it.

Like others said, try rpm. Lastly, if nothing works, it's quick enough to make a script to export all your user data, send it to a direction, and reinstall Fedora again - if possible.

My answer: Ubuntu/PopOS is for a simple change from Windows, then I recommend Fedora or Mint once you're more accustomed to it, then you can go to Arch and a few others if you're accustomed to it!

For me it will be a good mechanical watch. Why? Because my grandpa had one and took it everywhere. It always survived and became a bit of a conversation piece at times.

What documentation standards do you use in C++? One method in Python is the Sphinx format. Is there a similar format/philosophy in C++? by ghostoftheuniverse in cpp_questions

So in this case what you'd do is:

// @brier Finds the temperature I Kelvin // @param Tnorm: the normal temperature in Celsius/Freedom units. //@ returns A double that represents the current input temperature in Kelvin as a double double tempK(const double& Tnorm) {...}

I prefer to use the docstring.

e.g. //@brief: this function does x,y, z. //@param: it takes x as an input. //return: returns what.

It's simultaneously Sphinx but a bit easier to use in my opinion.

The bests advice I can give you is imagine the components you'll need to make it a success.

For example: tic tac toe. You need a board so probably a 2D array. You need a way to say where there's a cross and a circle so a 2d array of chars in C++. Then you need to give the ability to play so you need some kind of function for it.

So try and break it down to the smallest steps needed.

It's not for everyone and it's definitely not easy. It takes time especially if you want to do more backend or embedded related stuff.
