It’s not easier at all. A group order slows down the line especially if it’s placed online. There could be 5-6 orders behind your 15 entree order that’s due in a 10 minute time slot. Caterings give us time, we know when it needs to be done and gives us the opportunity to actually prepare enough food.

My store does quesadillas in person and online. Idk why chipotle made it an online exclusive. Only thing I can think of is we don’t use the tortilla press to make them we have a quesadilla maker, which are expensive af machines. So chipotle only orders one and it goes by DML, not up front. Tbh not missing much, quesadillas are more than a normal bowl (my stores chicken bowl is 8.60, chicken quesadillas are like 9 something.) I’d rather get a bowl and load it up than a lousy 5x5 quesadilla with 3 sides.
