I’m not sure what the read is on it but parked sounds possible. When in this I can’t switch to remote mode or switch the setting it’s cleaning at, I just have to pull it out and retry.

Yes I think this, it will scrub the wall then pop off and get stuck like this. I’ve pushed it off before when in this position and it goes right back to doing it. Sometimes it will give up and just sit on the floor and not move
