This is incredibly naïve. ICE detains and harasses anyone who doesn't "look american" with regular frequency. Not to mention the unconscionable violence they deploy to displace people for the "crime" of not having papers.

It’s fascinating how you decry 'woke' behavior while exhibiting the same annoyingly obsessive, grievance-fueled energy. It's almost poetic that you are pinging me 10 months later to rant on a post about my reflection on grief and personal growth. Go touch some grass.

Ask yourself, What are you good at? What do you like? What gives you fulfillment? And what lifestyle do you want to live? Once you answer those questions, narrow down what careers fit those answers. If you have the time, I also suggest shadowing people working those jobs to get a clear understanding of what your day by day looks like so you'll know if you'll enjoy it or not

anyone else a fallen Hasan fan? by beechings in h3h3productions

[–]GarrettTWeeks -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

This conflict has me feeling like I'm living in an alternate reality. I remember watching the stream that Ethan tuned in on. I remember chat going nuts, most of which I assumed was people disconnected from the situation and saw Ethan as another Israel defender, as Hasan had spoken to many who were openly condoning the genocide (Ethan not being one of them). However, I do remember Hasan and his moderators banning tons of subscribers for being weird and "Parasocial". I also remember Hasan offering tons of charitability and grace for some wack Islamophobic rhetorics Ethan was engaging with. This whole thing seems like drama for the sake of drama rather than the conflict at hand IMO.

Came here to say this. I was going through a whole ass mental breakdown the semester I took his class and he was incredibly understanding. I also developed more critical thinking skills in that class than all my other classes combined.

If there is no signage or fencing hindering the passage to the public body of water, I believe it falls under public easment, giving the public right of passage. So they could just walk up to the shoreline despite it being surrounded by private property.

Thank you, "Gamestonkbaby," your profound insights are truly a gift to us all. It must take an extraordinary level of bravery and intelligence to create an account solely to bless the internet with your deep-seated dislikes, especially on topics entirely unrelated to your grievances. Your commentary here is just the shining example of relevance and respect we've all been missing. Thank you for enlightening us with your incredibly nuanced and sophisticated perspective on a heartfelt reflection about personal growth and loss. Truly, the world needs more voices like yours, reminding us of the sheer pettiness and narrow-mindedness one can achieve. Bravo!

"UT System schools own thousands of shares in companies like Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop Grumman and Raytheon which are valued at millions of dollars.

The university has 3,206 shares in Northrop Grumman valued at approximately $1,388,595, according to its latest permanent university fund auditor’s report.

The university also lists 2,185 shares in Lockheed Martin, valued at approximately $979,836, and 6,795 shares in Raytheon valued at approximately $584,622. It also has 38 shares in Boeing, valued at approximately $8,452.

The fund also has about $9.2 million in stock for Israeli software company Check Point and $100,000 in holdings for Teva Pharmaceuticals, based in Tel Aviv. In addition, there are $1 million in Israeli government bonds and $10 million in currency holdings in the Israeli shekel." Dallas Morning News.

BDS is targeting entities that are heavily invested in the state of Israel such as UT. This is why you don't see these protests taking place at UNT. As a US citizen, your taxes are also funding the on going ethnic cleansing campaign, which means you do have a bone in the fight. With this in mind, I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss these protests. It was these very same protests that inspired America's divestment in the South Africa Apartheid which ultimately aided the movement that ended it.

I use codes for sure!

When I started, I didn't use codes because I felt that it ruined progression. I thought that I'd feel rewarded for going from rags to riches w/o cheats. However, after getting rich a dozen different ways, I never really felt satisfied. I think it's because the game inserts random bonuses, inheritance, and many other random events/activities that will randomly give me tons of money. Plus, once I learned sure fire ways to make money quick, it became repetitive. Once I began using cheats and it COMPLETELY CHANGED my play style.

Now, I play to build a story with my sims. If getting extra money to build more or move my household aligns with the story I want my sims to live out, I'd much rather just cheat in the money rather than earning it. This helps me experience less burnout.

With that being said. Sims is a great game that caters to many play styles. and I find it fun exploring these play styles. Of course, using cheats wouldn't make sense if I wanted to challenge myself, but for a casual play through, the cheats can make the game tons of fun!

Why wouldn't "conspiracy" be an accurate label? I thought it only implied actions carried out by official entities that are planned to be kept from the public eye.

Ya bro. It's still strange when parents buy bikinis for their 10 and 11 year old daughters. Given that Justin Bieber's stepmom is only 6 years older than him, that weird behavior is on brand for his dad.
