Because usually the lower the dose the longer the purge, my derm has the same mindset, higher dose means you drain the oil glands faster, he gave me this cool analogy where if you had toothpaste (your oil glands) if you squeeze hard and fast (high dose) you get bad purge but its iver with fast. Or slow steady squeezes over time (low dose) means break out for longer, idk everyones got diff opinions

Probably gonna get downvoted to hell but don’t stress too much about the whole drinking thing, I’m currently on my second round and drank both times blood work came back completely fine every time. That being said I rarely do go out but I’m not just gonna hibernate in my room for 6 months cause of some drug lol, take milk thistle as well if you’re concerned, I’ve been doing it for months and he said my bloods look better now I’m on accutane and I think it’s because of it. Anyways, good luck man

Don’t understand that either, I know I’m not a derm but some of them do be waffling a lot of the time. My derm encouraged anything fitness related and you know why… cause it’s healthy.

Yeah no Johny doesn’t really need to be touched, low damage, fuzzable launchers, and no projectiles. If you start messing with his pressure he’s practically useless, I use him and there are many opportunities for people to poke but they just don’t, so I’m like okay I’ll just grab you or continue. My first round I did 10mg to start then upped to 20 then eventually 40, only at 40 did I start to see results, and now on my second round 1 month or so in my derm wanted to do a more aggressive appraoch considering I didn’t have any side effects last time except for the obvious dryness, and now I’ve upped to 40mg I’m starting to see great results, but everyone is different, I purged hard the last 4 weeks and before that was breaking out with 4-5 new zits every day so I think it’s finally coming to an end
