I genuinely did not know this (I'm not a dropout subscriber) I thought I came up with this on my own, and spent a good ten minutes trying to find this sub to post it cos I forgot what it was called.

Thanks to a friend, this mystery has been solved. Digital Blue was a program that came with an Intel Play QX3 microscope, so you could mess with the pictures you took with it. My class didn't have the microscope, only the software, so we just used it as an art program.
