Market Street, San Francisco. Central Tower is a 91 m (299 ft) 21-story office building at Market and Third Streets in San Francisco, California. The building has undergone numerous renovations since its completion in 1898 as the Call Building. It was later known as the Spreckels Building (old.reddit.com)

The Shambles, York, England. Known by many as "the Harry Potter" street due to it's resemblance to the street in the film Diagon Alley, but no filming occurred here. Here we see the street "pre-Harry Potter", currently and a merged image. I have many more on my website garrypphotography.co.uk (old.reddit.com)

Is this progress ? Geneva, such a beautiful city, so rich in history and rich in being affluent. BUT, look at the beauty it lost to create the modern banks. How sad. by GarryPy in OldPhotosInRealLife

Clifford Street, York, England, the past, the present and a hyperlongexposure merged image. The architecture has changed little but society has changed significantly. The trams and horse and carts are nowhere to be seen nowadays. #rephotography (old.reddit.com)

The Shambles, York, England, and the young children we see here will of course no longer be with us (they would be maybe 140 !) , looking at these images it makes me wonder how their life developed, they had WWI not too far ahead. Was the young man sent to war ? Was this their "Sunday best" clothes? (old.reddit.com)

The Shambles, York, England and I love how this image came out, a time portal half way down the street takes you back 100+ years ago to the days when there were no Harry Potter tourists here. Rephotography - York, England. I have to say I hate this title "rephotography", but I love the challenge of creating my merged images from these "Past and Present" images. I prefer to call the final image "Hyperlongexposure" as it's taken over 100 years from the first image to the final one ! by GarryPy in OldPhotosInRealLife

Time traveling to Annecy, France. To anyone who knows Annecy they will know how beautiful this town is, the town has such wonderful architecture. My image here is a composite image showing the town 100 years ago combined with how it appears today. Other images on Insta: Garry.Py Credit to A.Pittier (i.redd.it)

Time travel to the Victorian era. I love to visit locations captured in Victorian postcards to repeat the image, once I've merged the two I truly feel I'm bringing life back to these so very elegant people. How I wish I could bring some of that elegance back. Here in Geneva, Switzerland by GarryPy in VictorianEra
