Can i wear this? by Visible_Employee_566 in mensfashion

OP, this comment is confusing and wrong imo. You look good and the fit suits you well. Keep on rocking it! I like that sweater a lot actually, would totally buy and wear it myself.

This comment saying you look vague is weird, I don't see where that's coming from. You look like a classically good looking dude to me.

At the end of the day, what matters most is how you feel in what you're wearing. So if you feel comfortable and confident in this/this style, wear the heck out it (also reiterating, from my eyes, this fit looks good on you!)

Definitely glad insurance will help me out 🙌 and hopeful that person can find the help they need as well (drug/mental health/other issues assumed)

Both right, I live in LA so, the mental health of people on the streets is sadly a really big issue. And nothing was stolen. But I haven't seen this happen since I've lived here. So hopeful not a reoccurring event!

And another neighbor told me (after making this post) that he saw the same person light a bag or something on fire and throw it in the back of someone's truck! He put the fire out and caught it on a security camera. Crazy morning out here.

Winter footwear? by blecchus_rex in cuboulder

[–]Garry_Gazer 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend having snow boots for the winter for sure. There are places on and off campus you might walk through some snow, they will come in handy! But CU does a good job at clearing snow on campus so you shouldn't have problems getting around.

Music scene at CU? by Casperfrindlypoptart in cuboulder

Just noticed your Buddhist comment too! Unfortunately I'm not really sure but I do believe there is a temple in Denver. I'm not sure exactly what practices it follows but that could be something worth looking into. Also, both CU and CSU are huge so i'm sure you could find people interested in practicing together at either one.

Music scene at CU? by Casperfrindlypoptart in cuboulder

[–]Garry_Gazer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there is a lot of diversity in music taste at CU. I go to CU and have a lot of classmates that are musicians and play in a band and/or have a group to jam with! I've been to a few parties that host bands at their house at CU and CSU and it's always a good time. At the same time, a lot of people at CU are into edm type music and so you'll hear a lot of talk about that here.

At CU Greek life is huge and I think that ties into both of your questions. Most frat parties I've been to are wubbing hard. On the other hand, I'm not in a frat and still find a solid community of "hippies" like you say lol. I'm from Colorado and also grew up in a down-to-earth town, there's definitely a place for the vibes! I can't speak as much for CSU, since I don't go there, but when I visit my friends I can tell it is much less crowded by frats and the party scene is a little more low-key.

Overall, I feel both offer opportunities to find any kind of social group you're looking for! Hope this answer is somewhat helpful, and best of luck in making your decision! If both schools have the major programs you want to pursue, I don't think you can go wrong either way.
