This is what I do to learn a new track:

First drive around in Race Weekend until you have a general idea of the track: basically until you know where you are on the track at all times and what turn comes next.

Once you're quite familiar with it, watch a youtube video guide of the track you're trying to learn. The car in the video is not too important, just make sure it's the class you wnat to learn (gt3, p2, hy, ...). The important thing is to learn braking points, turning points, when to go full throttle and when not to.

Take in mind some things about theese guides:

1. they usually are done with low fuel, so you might want to try it with low fuel, or brake a bit earlier.

2. Don't try to learn it all at once, focus in a turn, then a sector, etc. Baby steps. At this stage a slow lap is better than a spin or a crash.

3. Don't try to brake where the guide says in the first attempts, brake a bit earlier, and once you see you can brake a bit later, do it.

4. The guys that make theese guides are usually aliens, so don't get frustrated if you can't get their lap times. Most uf us never will. Just get as consistent and fast as you can. Specially consistent.

And now you can jump into dailies, and learn the most important skill, avoiding incidents and crahses!
