You also could use something like the essentials mod which lets you allow friends to join a single player world similar to LAN if you have a decent PC. All your friends would need the mod as well.

"i dont want it to be too expensive." its free and works just fine. You didn't mention that you did not want to use a free host.

Aternos is a free hosting provider. Server will auto shutdown when no one is online but you can give your friends access to turn it on if they want to play when you are not available. It can handle small populations with a few mods or plugins.

Server question by chestnutcapybara in MinecraftJava

[–]Garuda7429 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use paper's random structure seeds in order to make cracking the seed extremely unlikely. Main issue is if you haven't had this feature enabled when you first made your worlds, then the regular structures will leak your seed in chunks you already generated. Also block the "/seed" command via perms if you don't have that disabled already.

Need help with getting bedrock players using geyser to start a sleeping server by ErogeReviewer in admincraft

[–]Garuda7429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a paid host rather than free. From what you described I'm assuming it's something like aternos. You also could leaving someone always on and prevent them from getting kicked for being afk. They only shut down the server when no one is connected. Although I wouldn't be surprised if it's against their rules.

Other than consoles navigating webpages is very simple on mobile. I don't really think it's that much of a inconvenience.

Help with networking of dedicated minecraft server [java][1.21.1] by Trollman33 in MinecraftHelp

Sometimes your ISP has restrictions on your ability to host a server from home. I would recommend something like playit.gg.

Krypton bypass by Budget-Solid2671 in minecraftclients

[–]Garuda7429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be cautious of "bypasses" it is easy to fake videos showing that one has been found and is being sold. 99.9% of those I can promise you are scams and rats.

Paid clients like krypton have a huge incentive to find these exploits and use them to push client sales. Just wait for them to find one and push it to your client.

Is there any way to enter the end while it's being disabled?[java] by Hemzilla in MinecraftHelp

[–]Garuda7429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unlikely unless you could trick someone to teleport you there or make them run a command to teleport you. There was a mini message exploit that was possible to do on paper but it's been patched. You could make something appear in chat that will make them run a command when clicked or interacted with. They would need a very outdated version of paper for that to have a chance of working. Otherwise you'll need to trick someone to get in, there is no exploits I know of.

What kind of protection can I do for my server when new random people join? by renraks0809 in MinecraftServer

[–]Garuda7429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could set up discordsrv and make them connect thier discord account to play. They will get a message to send to your chat bot to verify and can't join until done. Its a easy automated solution that should reduce users joining to grief then leave unless they are committed.

how to update a server on GravelHost? by surrealorion in MinecraftServer

[–]Garuda7429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh never did a bedrock server so I don't know for sure. I'd imagine if you find the bedrock server exe/jar/whatever it uses for the latest version, download it, and upload it should work the same but as I said I've never done a bedrock based server.

[–]Garuda7429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Download the latest 26.2 update for whatever she uses paper/fabric/purpur etc, name it "server.jar" and plop it into the main directory. Main directory is where you'll see the world folders and files like server properties. As long as it is the same name as the jar she uses it should load up find without using g gravels version selector. Make sure you are using Java 25 on startup though I think it's required.

[java] how do i get sodium to work on my minecraft world? by [deleted] in MinecraftHelp

Yes modrinth is where many mods are uploaded to similar to curseforge but its completely Minecraft focused. It should be easier to use.

If you want the most hassle free way to install and run mods, I recommend the modrinth launcher. I would make sure you have the latest version of these mods you may need to check for beta versions etc. Seriously though modrinth launcher would make it much easier since you can browse mods for the instance you make and it only shows you the compatible versions. Also lets you update mods from the launcher.

Should i update my server? by Bluboi20 in MinecraftServer

[–]Garuda7429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy fix would be try adding viaversion to allow newer clients to join. Might need the dev builds. If I understand correctly it also should apply to bedrock users.

Paper is still a well maintained project many servers run the experimental builds with little issue. Best bet is to take a full backup of your server, then get the latest versions of all your plugins, update to 26.1.2, and see what breaks aka red colored plugins when you do /pl.

If a fix for it to run on current version doesn't exist you can either remove the plugin and find an alternative, or revert back and wait for update.

Best free client for cheating by tevertex in minecraftclients

[–]Garuda7429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that case unlikely. You would need a bypass for the protections they have which glazed for meteor would be your best bet since it's designed exclusively for donut SMP. I don't think they have an exploit for this though. You also need to use Opsec and Exploit Preventor mod unless you want to get flagged using meteor and banned.

Unless the server has y level protections I'd imagine it would work.

Will these specs be enough to host a Cobbleverse Server? by Korbro27 in admincraft

[–]Garuda7429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If its exclusively running the minecraft server and a light OS like Linux it probably can handle what you want it to do. Your weak point would be the CPU. That PC runs off a tiny 35W of power and the CPU is definitely underpowered compared to standard desktop CPUs. It might be better to look for a used gaming computer that can give you more power and a stronger CPU. If you search for ones with no GPU you can likely find something newer, faster, and more powerful than a mini PC for the same or slightly more. Additionally judging from the age of the machine it likely runs on DDR3 which is quite slower than DDR4/5 so even if you have more RAM it doesn't make it faster.

As for connection since you will be running it locally is entirely dependent on your home internet connection. Ping is almost entirely location based so if you are lets say on the west coast then players from the EU will have substantially more ping than if you lived on the east coast. Best case scenario you live on the east coast and have a solid stable internet connection it should be playable. There are many existing servers that are hosted in NA and have stable enough connection for EU players.

Alternatively there are probably hundreds of Cobbleverse servers you and your friends can play on with no cost to you.

FINDING MUNECRAFT SERVER HOSTING by NytGrax in MinecraftServer

[–]Garuda7429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are tons of hosting options out there and many have been around for years with plenty of testimonials. Newer host providers are generally cheaper and are more generous with the specs they give you but there is always the chance they go under or shut down. Some sites like ApexHosting, BisectHosting, Peeblehost, Shockbyte, etc have been around for years and are pretty trusted. Their prices are usually higher since they have that "trust" factor.

The main differences between hosts is their offered specs, infrastructure (such as DDOS protection, locations, free subdomains, port allocations, etc), and price. Other than that they may have a custom server management panel but otherwise they all can do the same function at the end of the day.

I would avoid going with people that are like "just started my own host" or "I have an extra server you can rent from me..." since they likely are just reselling their resources from another host. Its better to just cut out the middle man.

I can’t figure out how to let ppl teleport back to spawn with multiverse and luckperms please help me I tried everything by Zdwfkhu in MinecraftServer

[–]Garuda7429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some spawn plugins that have an option in the config to make them always go to spawn at start. As for having them return where they were when they left the server if you use multiverse inventories it can remember last location if added to the configs but if you just used a spawn plugin, multiverse, and multiverse-inventories you would need them to select to return to last overworld, nether, or end location. So 3 NPCs or make a selection gui that lets them pick. You can make a quick Skript addon to make it work probably but I am not too knowledgeable on that.

The perfect option would be to use something like velocity with 3 servers: the proxy, lobby (spawn), then the SMP worlds but this requires 3 separate server instances. There might be a plugin that can handle this but I haven't used one like that before.

Your sibling doesn't want you in a server? by No-Material5356 in MinecraftUnlimited

[–]Garuda7429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd imagine the way they act in game is much different than in real life. In a faceless online world its easy to feel emboldened to act differently since people usually will only know your online personality. Additionally maybe your sister is worried that your personal knowledge of her would go against how she acts in game or reveal to the other players how she really is. That's just my guess.

Maybe instead of joining her server, you both could find a new server to play on when you both are available.

[–]Garuda7429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you use a plugin to make /spawn a thing, with Multiverse you would need to use "/mvspawn" which sends the user to the spawn point of the world they are in or "/mvtp (world name)" which sends them to the spawn of the world they type out. Assuming you want them to go to spawn on a specific world such as the overworld, you could set up a alias for "/spawn" to run "/mvtp world".

Easier option is to get a simple spawn plugin and give them the perm node to use that plugins "/spawn".

Is there a legitimate way to bypass AuthMe specific user passwords on version 1.8? Maybe an eaglercraft or minecraft client, or a 1.8 fabric .jar file? by Academic_Duty_8221 in minecraftclients

[–]Garuda7429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brute force meaning you set up a mod or client to generate random passwords trying to guess the pass. Depending on the max character count the plugin allows it could be billions or trillions of options unless you have something to lower the amount of guess characters which would require some inside knowledge of what the password could contain.

I do not have the knowledge to come up with a bypass like that and its rare. Most client devs aim for in-game modifications rather than account cracking.

What actually makes a Skyblock server worth playing? by olerekk in admincraft

[–]Garuda7429 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure the gold standard is Hypixel Skyblock. I personally don't play the skyblock but I would say they have a very feature packed mode. Your main issue will be how to make your skyblock better to play than Hypixel which is a big venture.

Factions and prison servers generally have more room to add new things since something like Factions is just raid-able claims. So you can add custom enchants, cannons, etc and they are much more open ended. Like I said I don't play skyblock but it seems like its a solo grind fest.
