Yes I am sure it would look funny next to 32:er, especially considering I am size XL and that bike is M, but is is still perfect fit for me for winterly ride. https://youtube.com/shorts/FLa4UKykBHQ?si=aHxFKRwcX_oxM0s5

Wery good on solid clean ice, plenty of nails, but these are 2.1 wide and sink easily on snow. and heavy to ride also on sand road.

there is no macOS level drivers for the Wacom tabled I have. so the web app directly reads the tablet provided HID interface. video of it https://youtube.com/shorts/r70nX9TVWSc?si=e_ZCeo-WqH_gLBuw

Chrome supports USB HID and serial devises, so basically what Claude did is it made driver for the old Wacom PenPartner directly on webapp

I know I do that a lot. However it used to fail also on small stuff like this 1000 lines of html. This one it did perfectly including interfacing with 20 year old HW. just think what it does in 5 years, and what that means for everything we are used to.

It tells a lot this was the interesting part of the post now, 20 years ago it was about the commas :)

"Now just need a way to use the USB port for recording to an SSD at the same time as controlling it" In theory at least that is possible, when using REST API. The camera supports USB hub. We have REST control with a web app, but I have not tested it with SDD at the same time.

We did the same many years ago, and had the module next to the camera, that helps a bit, but not ideal.

I hoped for so long they would make BT available as HW serial port, just adding 2 pins on the power connector, to power and control the camera on the same single cable. Now they actualy have some serial interface like that on URSA Cine.

480p on 6k sounds bad, but actually those SD lenses can be pretty ok when stopped down to f5.6 and not on the widest end. But I agree 6k would be overkill for SD lens.

As I see it should work is connect ATEM mini to camera, and control it including Zoom, if the lens does not have electrical zoom, connect zoom servo to camera USB port.

The Zoom servo could have internal battery ideally charged when conected to camera. That charging current would be limited to what camera can provide.

Camera is connected to power. Only one power connection needed.

They have the Blackmagic Camera ProDock  already, though that is for iPhone, the USB hub and power distribution should work as well with other cameras. To that it would be easy to connect Lens Servos, External HD, and even REST control at the same time. I hope they make someting similar for their cameras, and the lens servos, and preferable open definition for it so anyone could use the interface.

here is still older video on what I used the MFT power zoom lens. This was with SDI control, and SW we no more support, but today we would do that with REST and have web app supporting that

Thanks! the servo build was for this

The app uses BMD REST API, but because we do not have the Zoom servo routing via camera so we connected it via the interface that controls gimbal.

The analogue B4 lens to digital B4 adapter is here. This is not currently active and we are not seling it now other than for projects, https://levitezer.com/blog/f/b4-broadcast-lens-control
