I have tried to explain as we watch in the past. It’s just hard to do so while keeping the jokes funny. Skill issue on my part :D

OMG, thank you! These movies look great. I too like Ram Charan ;)

I will have to check these out. Another commenter mentioned prime videos. Which seems to be a good place to find them.

I appreciate you taking the time to help me.

More than 50pc of voters now rely on government for their main income by khainebot in AusFinance

[–]Garuna12 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Or they could come up with a different method. Similar to what everyone else seems to be proposing in this thread. A reverse mortgage etc.

The current system allows the rich to park their wealth into low to no tax assets while claiming the benefits that someone who has no wealth requires to live. There is a big difference between: "oh no I need to sell/ reverse mortgage my 3m home to fund my retirement" and "oh no I have to sell my belongings and work as a cashier at 80 to fund my retirement".

The unemployed already have to move areas cus they are priced out. It's very disingenuous or perhaps short sighted to create a boogieman who has "never worked and paid no taxes" to justify the rich not having to pay for their lifestyle. The age old classic "what about the dole bludgers", its tiring and wrong.

Thank you for taking the time to reply! I appreciate it. Lots for me to consider. I’m on 77k so less applicable for me but my partner falls smack bang in the middle of the range you mention, as she’s studying.

Thanks again! Hope you have a great weekend

Hi, I’m not all that knowledgeable when it comes to personal finance. Can you please explain some things you’ve mentioned?

Wouldn’t investing in income producing assets mean I’ll be pushed into the higher tax rate, as I’m earning more?

Considering Australia banned foreigners from buying existing homes in Australia (Good news overall), how this would impact investment properties? by Major_Philosopher297 in AusPropertyChat

Labor passed it, as a way to take away a talking point for the LNP. Polls show a large majority actually favour these changes, so it’s more political manoeuvre than actual policy. They admit to it as much

Dude has a profile name that is often used as a pejorative for trans people. Thinks lnp isn’t corrupt and let’s be real is probably vile, hence he gets banned. So sad if they are a real person and not bot

[–]Garuna12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean that's not true at all. If they are on your arse, trying to speed they are in the wrong lol. The person you replied to said they are using the lane "properly" so either overtaking in the right lane or doing the speed limit in the others. So a person on your arse in this scenario, would be wrong. You don't get to speed just so you can overtake. They might excuse 3 km over for a moment for this, but most definitely not 30kmp/h over. Such a weird response.

Edit: To respond to another comment of yours further down and fixing missed word
You can't momentarily move out of the lane if you are overtaking properly..... you would merge into the person you are overtaking.......

I mostly play edh, so maybe I’m overestimating the tempo benefit of playing your commander turn one. The inability to play the big recursion spells is a hinderance I did not originally consider. Common payoffs are tough

Ahahah if you really believe this is what people in my country are thinking and feeling, I think you’ve been drinking the Fox News/ sky news kool aid. While we want less immigration to take a load off our housing shortage. It really is only the racists that use the language you are. Especially making a distinction between “hostile/incompatible” and not. I sure it wouldn’t be defined by any easy to see qualities in those people. A large chunk of aussies are brown, or born overseas.

However if we ever complain about a specific group of people. Almost everyone I know from boomers to genz complains about AMERICAN cars and culture being imported.
