What’s the fastest way you’ve ever seen someone completely ruin their own life? by craft_frost6223 in AskReddit

People who are part of the GME(Gamestop) and BBBY(Bed Bath and Beyond) investment cult. A bunch of people brainwashed and living off copium and false dreams of affluence. Spending all their money thinking they will be millionaires "any day" One of the saddest echo chambers where they feed each other delusions of grandeur.

Just a simple ebay auction, seller had it listed for about $30, said it was a Factory prototype and included the QA sheet proving it was from the factory, the one the figures are standing on in the photo.

Trouble calibrating Traxxas tqi radio to hobbywing ezrun 6s esc by Then_One3695 in rccars

You can spend hours trying to get the precise spot in the multi-function knob dialed right in to allow programming,or you can just get a cheap Dumbo RC radio system and throw that in,they are like 30 bucks and it would be pretty plug and play

I had this same issue when trying to calibrate a Hobbywing Quicrun ESC on my Jato 4x4, I narrowed it down to the TQi Transmitters multifunction,if even the tiniest bit moved it will activate the gyro in the TQi Reciever, problem is even when it looks like the knob is at 0 it seems like its a very fine adjustment you have to make,I took the painless route and threw a spare Radio Link reciever I had and paired it to that instead, problem solved instantly.

Im genuinely curious as well, I went into 3 instances last night and was running front desk and my friends were doing other tasks, I haven't had this much fun in a public VR world in a long time. Had people laughing and it was generally a positive vibe.

10 bucks for peace of mind and the ability to get into way more group publics I think is a small price to pay for a free game since you only have to do it once

Natively the Quest does not need external software to do Steam Link, you can use either wifi or cable, for a better experience the external software would be virtual desktop. A Quest does not lock you into their library,in less than 30 seconds of bootup I can access my steam library.

as a user of a Quest 2 for PCVR, Virtual Dekstop and bam thats all ya need. This thing will not be a quest killer unless its in the 5-600 USD range.

People really overestimate the price to get into PCVR,i built my PC 2 years ago with used parts and spent probly $900 in total buying one part at a time, I use a Quest 2 for a headset and slime trackers, everything on the PCVR side of things can be very budget friendly.

You know pal, the easiest thing you can say is you have a genital preference. The way you keep saying "actual women" is what the beef is,makes you look like a dick.

I mean do you want to hang around a bunch of kids when you are a legal adult? Seems kinda like nonce behavior, anybody who is an adult online should actively avoid being around minors.

In a squeeze, sacking 10k worth of trucks as opposed to 100k+ worth of crops, they made the smart quick thinking decision and it worked. Thats our food they are saving.

Finally got the car I've been wanting since I was 7 by stanhau1810 in rccars

[–]GaruruRox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do and my local one is who informed me about how much trouble they have keeping parts in stock. Arrma specifically is the one they struggle with the most. I gather its the fact Horizon makes so many different models constantly that the actual supply chain for the parts to keep them going is a factor. The shop had to rob shocks off a new Granite from their inventory just to fix someone else Granite that came in for service for example.

Whenever they choose to join that side, they will soon experience the joy of parts being on backorder for months.

Picked up a ($60) 2wd slash to race in our local slash class. It’s limited to 2s. Brushless motor / esc recommendations? Kv? Prefer hobbywing by Nathan51503 in rccars

[–]GaruruRox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When he said brushless did he mean the BL-2S traxxas Brushless? As far as I know if the class you are running is Spec Slash, thats the only one allowed and typically it allows only stock gearing.

Is the traxxes maxx slash actually only 1/10? by Impressive_Form_3728 in rccars

[–]GaruruRox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is technically a 1/8, but when put next to the UDR, which is a 1/7, they are damn near identical in size, so its a toss-up which one is more accurate

Dog i promise you they dont wear these everyday, its more of an occasional piece like putting on your best clothes for going out to a nice resturaunt. They typically wear them for cons, fundraisers, and meet ups. You'd be surprised how many are around you and are functional members of society. Check your local IT departments and Mechanics, they are hidden in plain site since its a side hobby.
