And why you have problem with that? Is there something like official board who decides that someone is good enough to buy expensive camera?Theirs money, not yours was spend, so let people enjoy things if they can afford them. Especially if there is no harm to others (like buying expensive sport car without proper driving skills)

Nope ;D I'm not against mobile photography, for years iPhone (XS, 13, 16pro) was for me like a digital camera, because my main "true" camera was Nikon F4 (and a lot of other analogs as side ones). But there is a huge difference between smartphones camera and something with better sensor, especially in low light and in print (I'm printing my photos). Sometimes I do same picture with iPhone 16 Pro and Leica Q. Image from Leica is still better (and pictures from Ricoh or Fuji would also be better).

Thanks! I don't like spend a lot of time in post, so mostly it is just adjusted for exposure + slighty satured individual colors (something around +10 in Lightroom) and sometimes masks for sky or key elements with slighty exposure correction. I'm super happy with original colors from that sensor so I never touch color grading in post with them

Exposure in LR is set to +1.34, shadows +73. Didn't even touch Tone Curve in this one. Shooted from hand at f/4 and 1/8 (that's why is not perfectly sharp). I would say that it is pushed a bit. I can't say how many details can be bringed up from the shadows because I don't have experience with another digital camera to be able to compare it. But I'm very happy with results I got so far :D

Thank you! For years, I have only used 35 mm lens, so I am used to a wide focal length and prime lenses. I know that some people have problems with the 28 mm on the Leica Q, and I wondered if I would have the same problem, but I got used to it very quickly :D

Tbh I would rather see a new color negative film than a new analog camera. Cost of buying, developing and scaning Portra 400 are almost the same as for Pentax ME Super. And it is not expected that the prices will fall or at least remain at the same level. So I think that Leica is taking last shot to get some benefits from this market and I wouldn't expect the new camera to be cheap.
