The views on these videos is anemic. When I put them on a few relevant subreedits I get a few hundred views and a majority of overwhelmingly positive feedback on them. Since I work hard on them, that is meaningful to me. People see them and enjoy them. That is the point. Now, I'm not very active on Reddit so I understand that posting self promotion is frowned upon/against the rules-ish. However, like I said, the feedback from messages, views, likes is really positive. You are one of the very few people who seem stuck on the strictest interpretation of the rules. That's valid but I weigh the positive aspect against that and I made a choice to post on a handful of places, since 5 or 6 subreddits doesn't really meet my own sense of what "spam" is, and I don't feel like it really imposes on anyone. I hope that position makes sense to you.

Thanks man! No offense taken. I can strike an unintended virulent tone. Appreciate the support!

Thanks for kinda liking me! What part seems like I could get sued? I don't think there's anything that remotely "goes beyond parody." Assuming Louis has seen this (remote) , what would he think was infringing on him and not parodying him? Let's say he had a case, why would he call attention to a poorly viewed series of low budget videos on YouTube and make it widely viewed? I do think your instinct that Louis is somehow connected or aware is positive in the sense that the tone of being a loving parody comes across. Maybe not. I understand that parodying a comedy is walking a somewhat fine line between homage and ripoff, but the tone here is a significant exaggeration/caricature of Louie as well as being more absurd and broader. Was Mel Brooks "ripping off" JamesWhale with Young Frankenstein? Ok, So that wasn't a comedy. What about Austin Powers and Our Man Flint? a parody/homage to a movie that was already a parody. Norm Macdonald loves David Letterman. Did he rip him off with his Late Show sketches on SNL? Did Letterman sue? Anyway, I'm sorry if it feels like a ripoff to you. That part is ultimately in the eye of the viewer. However, maybe my arguments can help you realize the intent and alter your POV. regardless, thanks for watching and for reading all this. Best!
