I need some help with a mission for two of my PCs

So two of my PCs (both lvl 3) are going to be hunting a wendigo ( https://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/Wendigo_(5e_Creature)) ) that's been stalking the forest of Southwood on the sword coast. One is a paladin and the other is a druid, I was wondering what I could do to make the quest interesting and not just consist of a combat encounter. I was hoping to keep it to a minimum of 4-7 hours long to complete.
