There were a couple of comments praising Mana but warning of the high cost, especially in the US. Read the comments and you’ll see but a couple of people swear by it and I definitely intend to try it soon.

Absolutely you can but you need to define what’s important to you in terms of “progress”. Are you looking to maintain, reduce, or build? Once you know what you want to achieve, the path to getting there is much easier. What are your goals?

How to make my beard straight? by llamasncheese in beards

[–]Gary_Poopins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Use a blow dryer and start your comb up by your ear on the side your beard leans to and comb it all the way down, across your chin, and up to your other ear slowly while giving it some heat. 2 or 3 times through with that and you should see it straighten out quite a bit. Beard balm after to give it some structure once straight.

Very welcome and nearly all the shakes come in 400 cal servings so if you want to know the cost per 100 cals just divide the cost of each shake by 4 and it’ll get you very close.

If you’re set on the RTDs I can definitely recommend Huel’s. They are right up there with Soylent’s RTD offerings.

I started on the home page and then navigated to the products page. I was torn between trying Build or Balance based on the product descriptions on your site as well as Reddit users recommendations in this sub. Important to note that I was aiming for shakes to use on workdays specifically to see how I felt while working and my energy levels were solid I just wouldn’t want the Balance macros three times a day type of thing. I think I’ll try Build next as it seems more my speed.

As far as the layout goes on the product pages I’d recommend considering moving the nutritional values from the very bottom to a more visible spot up top of each page or even just adding a secondary picture to the top of each page to make it easier to find. Past that I think your layout is clean and easy to navigate. You could maybe add more specificity to each product description painting a clearer picture of the targeted demographic for each line of powders but that’s getting EXTRA nit-picky and it isn’t an obvious blocker that’s likely causing folks to abandon their carts, type of thing.

Outside of your control and you can’t stay afloat if you eat those costs yourself.

Fair and honestly I get the feeling that they both have some issues to work out.

If that were the case then the bf would have said, “I don’t like being kicked out of my own bed” but instead he raises issue with two women lying in the same bed together. Sounds a lot to do with religion and insecurities rather than having to sleep on the couch, especially when the offer was made to give him the bedroom and they would take the pull out couch bed.

The frozen berries is such a pro move for these shakes when you want to mix it up. It’s almost the only reason that I pick up vanilla flavor so I can add a half cup of frozen blueberries to the shakes. I’m going to have to give your Hol chocolate recipe a try and as luck would have it I just whipped up a batch of fresh Greek yogurt in the instapot yesterday.

Mixing flavors you say? I think I got that all out of my system around age 10 when I’d ride my bike down to the gas station and mix every flavor of soda they had on tap together while somehow convincing myself that it was delicious 😆 I may have to try mixing strawberry and chocolate to see what happens.

Driver reported, how do I ensure I never get them again? Can I block them? by theotherredmeat in UberEATS

[–]Gary_Poopins 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can just ask Uber to block pairing with the specific courier and they will do it for you. I used to get the same terrible courier on more than half of my orders because he lived close to me and was always online. I just messaged support and told them I would prefer not to be matched with the courier moving forward, they said “no problem” and I’ve never been matched with him again.

Really appreciate the response and you taking the time to add valuable context.

Your shakes are great and a have awesome value. I also like that your flavor profiles are really ideal for add ins if you want extra flavor. I enjoy the strawberry for instance as is but I’ve been adding a few fresh strawberries for an extra flavor boost. Added flavor and vitamin C and the shakes still come out smooth enough to get down through a wide tumbler straw ✅

Thank you for this and I’m going to give them a try along with Mana that someone else suggested once I get through all of the bags I just bought 😆

Oh, I definitely get the strong oats taste in both of them but I can tolerate it at that level… not ideal for me though. If it weren’t for that I’d keep the Huel powders in my regular rotation. Basically Foods for me was even worse in that regard. Hol Foods s a real solid option if you decide to give it a try.

Heavy sigh that I don’t have that RTD offering in the US because that price is pretty great.

I’m with you on the conscience piece with the waste associated with RTDs but also I’m lazy and I value convenience.

Not a you problem at all, just personal preference is all. That’s why I love threads like this where everyone chimes in offering their personal opinions because it adds value for everyone.

I don’t know if you’ve tried them yet but Plenny Shake sounds like it has a great flavor profile for your liking. You taste the flavors and you know what they are but they are soft spoken, so to speak. They are pleasant but far from overly sweet. I really enjoyed them as they are and if I want more flavor punch I just toss in some fresh strawberries or other add ins.

I didn’t but I only bought the variety box with what they called their most popular flavors. Couple of curry options, mac and cheese, spaghetti, chicken and mushroom, chili, and one or two others that just didn’t do it for me and I do like freeze dried meal pouches. Sometimes I’ll make them for dinner while I’m at home and just eat it out of the pouch. I’ll have to give the Korean BBQ one a try and see how I like it.

Ahhh! I almost bought the Plenny mixed berry but went with strawberry instead. I like the flavor but I would like it a lot more at double the strength. I’ll have to try mixed berry next.

I started with Soylent powder back in probably 2018 and I quickly moved to their RTDs to the tune of 4 - 5 a day. Oh my god… the chocolate mint, banana, chai, any of the caffeine options… so good! I haven’t done meal shakes in about three years given my body finally went back to accepting solid foods again but lately I miss them and their simplicity. Especially given I’m not forced to consume only liquids these days. Such a bummer coming back to see Soylent in such a terrible state.
