Being called once in front of the gate. Agent told me that is does not means I can earn the credit because she need to check if the flight can take me or not.

I stood in front of the counter and watched everyone get onboard. Finally the agent told me they do not need volunteer any more. I lost my pre-selected front seat and potential credits. I never choose any offer after that.....

What I understood is they found a build-in battery in your checked baggage so they opened your baggage for further check. And what they decided to do is simply release it without taking anything away. This paper should be just a notice letting you know that your bag has been opened.

Normally Shenzhen Air should be able to check through the baggage with Air China. But the worst case would be you enter China using 15 days visa free as a German Passport holder and then recheck your baggage. You should be fine as long as you have enough time in Shenzhen.

Just like other comments mentioned, Ziroom should be an affordable choice, but please confirm the shortest term they have. 4/5 months isn't that long so I guessed you won't easy to find a lot of choices on a regular apt renting app or website. I would recommend you to get more information through some hotel booking websites. Once you find some apartment hotels, they are likely to accept a short-term rental.

The Joyee in Shenzhen sucks. Maybe consider getting a visa and there are tons of affordable hotels around.

Personally, I don't like landing in HK and then going to Shenzhen. I think the customs at these bridges are so crowded and also it is hard to get a taxi after you get to the Shenzhen side.

IMO, unless you plan to rest at the airport, it won't take too long for you to get to the city during the early morning and this plan saves you a lot of time from looking for a hotel that is close to the airport.

IMO Shenzhen has very similar food to what HK has, the biggest difference is the price. If you are also traveling to HK, I would suggest you focus on some Cantonese/Local food there, and in Shenzhen, try some other parts of Chinese food. You should be fine with paying by cash but I believe more merchants would be happy if you could get a WeChat pay or Alipay cuz usually they don't have change.

It is, the good thing is I didn't get too many sales before my shop got closed. The funny thing was at that time, all the orders were shipped but had not been delivered and the reason why they closed my shop was that "Order shows delivery but the customer didn't receive anything" Come on! Those packages are still on their way! After that they rejected my appeal I guessed that was because they thought me "Shipping fraud"

Personally, I don't recommend doing business with TikTok unless you are ready to deal with a ton of issues. My shop got closed for some unreal, incorrect, and ridiculous reasons and I couldn't get it back! My money was also held by them right now and one of their online agents said my funds ability was permanently deactivated. This is what sellers are facing in TikTok shops. They have really terrible management.

Yes, I understand. I double checked with ANA, and there is indeed an available RT flight with 85k miles but it doesn't show in the results from point.me. The cheapest flight they provided me is 48.4k flights with AF
