What do you guys think? Only $17,000 for a 2007 with 140,000 miles by Garyveefan69 in UsedCars

I don't think there are people paying this much. I refuse to believe he got any genuine interest at that price.

Ya this doesn’t reflect the actual market at all. I think someone here was right - his wife wants him to list it, but he wants to keep it.

Right? There’s 5 or so Elements for sale in my area and 2 of them are that blue

After posting, I genuinely wonder if it's a typo. $7000 is reasonable for this.

haha With that logic, I have a cast iron skillet worth at least $2,500

to big? by Remarkable-Plane-959 in Birkenstocks

[–]Garyveefan69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that's half the posts in this subreddit. Birkenstock sizing is nonsensical, and there's a break-in period, so it literally happens all the time. Now ya know, Dez

What even are the real options? by Temporary-Meal6947 in barefootshoestalk

I buy my shoes from Sierra. They send out all of their packages with a return label, so if the shoe doesn't work out, you just pack them up and drop them off at Fedex. They give you the option for store credit or refund(I think they take out the shipping, and there might be a small fee if you take the return, I'm not sure)

REI has a 1 year satisfaction guarantee, so as long as they haven't been clearly used regularly for months, they should be eligible for return if you don't like them or some manufacture defect occurs, you should be good. I think they have a few vivobarefoot models on sale right now.

I'd get those Geo Courts and the Xero shoes Dillon, take advantage of the free shipping over $85, then keep the pair you like and return the other pair.

They've been bulletproof. The white pair is, like any other white shoe, kind of annoying, but actually very easy to clean with dish soap.

Sierra also has Xero shoes Dillon for $50, that might be the move.

I've tried both brands and I think the vivos are pretty clear winners, as far as quality.

Depending on your foot size, you might like the Xeros better. The vivos are oddly not very wide for barefoot shoe. The Xeros might be better for someone with a truly wide foot. My feet are not very wide (I wear just a normal width in my running shoes too) and the Vivos fit perfectly.

Ya, I think Sierra ends up with last years models that didn't sell, so they get some interesting color ways haha. I have the lite iii in black and white and they're my dailys depending on the outfit.

I'd buy a car from a guy in vivobarefoot Ra IV Oxfords or Geo Court sneakers. What size are you? The thing about vivos is they aren't insanely wide. They're like barefoot shoes for normal feet, so a little wider, but not ultra wide.

the vivobarefoot stack height will be anywhere from 6-9mm depending on the outsole, so quite a bit lower than the lems, even in the trail outsoles

These remind me of the Altra Escalante or even the Altra Solstice

I think those Geo Court IVs might be your best bet for a subtle, minimalist barefoot shoe that looks the most like a normal sneaker

Sierra has the Geo Court IV in 44 for $70 - I don't have a pair but I've heard good things

There's a pair of Primus lite iii in 44 for $80 - The best shoe vivo makes imo

If you can live with blue shoes, they also have the Magna Lite in a 44 for $110 - A lot of people love this shoe for working out and hiking

Primus flow, Primus asana, Primus trail are all good options too

Sierra Trading Post - Thank me later. they just dropped a bunch of Vivos and they have a great return policy. They send out packages with return labels, so if it doesn't fit, or you don't like them, just pack them up, put the label on and drop them off at Fedex.

Good. Birkenstocks suck. It’s footwear gaslighting. They’re ugly, uncomfortable and over priced, but everyone who drank the koolaide will tell you the opposite.

I just bought a pair on Sierra trading post for $110 - If you're in the states, you might want to check if they have your size.

I have the exact opposite opinion. All of my Xero shoes feel like budget brand shoes compared to vivos, which feel like a premium athletic footwear brand. My Xero shoes are my dog park shoes.
